: Good Morning Ma’am, I’m Rizza Mae U. Vacaro, from Capiz State University, Main Campus, and a
student of BSEd Major in Science, together with Johanna Lee Verde and we are here to ask you some
questions regarding of subject TTL, so the first question is, in your point of view how does the used of
educational technology tools benefits you as a teacher especially in this time of pandemic?

: So hello viewers, before anything else I would like to introduce myself. I am Mrs. Khristine Gwen
Silvestre Valiente, currently I am teaching grade 6 in Francisco C. Vacaro Memorial School, this school is
located at Brgy. Agambulong Jamindan, Capiz. So this is a public elementary school offering Kindergarten
to Grade 6 grade level. So, upon your question, so what are the advantages, or is it advantageous to use
technology in instructions? I can say that ‘yes’ because nowadays, we are bombarded techbological
advancements, and as a moving institutionit is a must that we must adopt, in the updated of the latest
trends, also in education especially in that our pupils are…they have differentiated learning and they
have multi-linggual abilities and talents.

: So, thank you Ma’am. So for the next question, what can you say about the internet in teaching and
learning nowadays?

: Same as through with…information technology, internet is needed in instruction nowadays because

most of our resources can be found online, it is readily accessible, and and feasible for us, teachers, to
use legit, accurate, online resources, coming from internet.

: So for the third question, can you give atleast two advantages and disadvantages with regards to the
use of technology for LEARNING purposes

: For the purposes,…usually it will always have a disadvantages…we will begin with…no.1,….if the
information that we can get in the internet is accurate, second, is… how do we use this information to
impart learning to our students or our pupils. For advantages, it is readily accessible…in later years, we
used to have books, encyclopedias, and thick reference materials, as a resources in teaching our pupils,
now a days, just so with one click, we can select, and and choose different and varied resources, that we
can use.

: So for the question number 4, give atleast two advantages and disadvantages with regards to the use
of technology for TEACHING purposes.
: So while ago, I gave to disadvantages and now the advantages, so it is accessible, we can easily access
information using technology, information technology, through the use of internet, second, aside from
being accessible, it is updated, it is with the trend, so that…we can deviate with traditional learning
methods and strategies.

: For the last question, in your own opinion, is educational teachnology effective in this type of situation
specially in the new normal?

: I believed that using technology, and information, information gathered through online resources, it is
very beneficial, to our students who are…in a distance learning modality, even that through the advent
of the pandemic, pupils are disadvantage when they are going to school especially when they are not
vaccinated, another advantage or good benefits with technology is that, they can catch the attention
span of our learners, through animations, visual materials, that are very eye catchy, to our pupils.

: I guess all the questions have been answered. So thank you Ma’am…we hope that your teaching skills
and your ability to teach will help a student to grow and to foster.

: Hello Sir, I am Charmieann Cezar from Capiz State University Main Campus. I am going to conduct an
interview for our course Technology for Teaching and Learning 1 but before we start our interview, can I
ask for your name, age, and your years of teaching?

: My name is Ryan Ampater. I am 30 years old and I’m teaching almost 6 years, as of now.

: So, the first question Sir is that, in your point of view, how does the use of educational technology tools
benefit you as a teacher especially in this pandemic?
: Educational technology tools makes the lessons for us more easier to discussed and faster for the
learners to learn their lesson. It makes them to enjoy the lessons since we are using our internet as our
medium for the lessons and I do believe, that more senses functions for a student, the more learnings
they will gain. That is why it is very helpful for us during this time of pandemic.

: Okay so, by using this technology tools Sir, it really helps us students for our learning in the academic
performance.

: Of course. It’s very helpful for a students as well as the teachers.

: So, for the next question Sir is that, what can you say about the internet in teaching and learning
nowadays?

: Internet teaching plays a vital roles specifically during pandemic because internet teaching is one of our
medium of instruction to reach out the students. It’s also lessen the burden for us teacher to reach out
the students at the same time it is comfortable for us teacher to deliver our lesson very well.

: Can you give Sir some advantages and disadvantages with regards to the use of technology for learning
purposes.

: There are more advantages and disadvantages with the use of technology for learning purposes. So
maybe, one of the advantages are it makes the lessons more enjoyable because they can browse it or
they can watch it on youtube for additional learnings. Another, is they can study the lesson anytime they
want, since it can be seen easily in the internet such as google or etc. Then, the disadvantages of this
kind of learning are if you don’t have strong internet connection in your home and especially if you don’t
have smart phone to be used. Maybe, some of the learners can’t understand the lesson very well since it
has, it don’t have the teacher to discussed further the lessons.

: With regards to the use of technology for teaching purposes, what are some advantages and
disadvantages can you give?

: For teaching purposes, the advantages for this kind of teaching goes for the teacher, for us. Why? It
simply makes our job easier. As what I have said a while ago, it can easily reach out our students at the
same time we can deliver our lesson very well via zoom or google meet. Then, maybe the disadvantages
with this kind of instruction are same with what I’ve said in learning purposes. If they don’t have strong
internet connection or they don’t have smart phone it will affect because of this kind of instruction.

: Okay Sir, for the last question.”In your own opinion, is educational technology effective in this kind of
situation especially in new normal?

: Educational technology is very helpful and effective for me because by this kind of tool it can provide
more knowledge and learning in which the students needed most during the pandemic. Then, this kind
of tool have passed a lot in this situation because we can give the learners the learnings they need for
our lessons same with it can make the life of the teacher easier and comfortable.

way. The word technology may also mean the product of such an endeavor. The use of technology is
widely prevalent in medicine, science, industry, communication, transportation, and daily life.
Technologies include physical objects like utensils or machines and intangible tools such as software.
Technology brought lots of advantages in learning and on teaching, teachers want to improve student
performance, and technology can help them accomplish this aim. To mitigate the challenges,
administrators should help teachers gain the competencies needed to enhance learning for students
through technology. Additionally, technology in the classroom should make teachers’ jobs easier
without adding extra time to their day. Technology provides students with easy-to-access information,
accelerated learning, and fun opportunities to practice what they learn. It enables students to explore
new subjects and deepen their understanding of difficult concepts. Through the use of technology inside
and outside the classroom, students can gain 21 st-century technical skills necessary for future
occupations.
