Performance Testing is a form of software testing on how system running it is performing. This is
not about finding bugs or defects in the software. It is kind of measuring performance in line with
benchmarks and testing need to provide diagnostic information that developers need to remove
bottlenecks. There are 7 steps including in performance testing, they are:
1. Identify the test of the environment
Should identify the available software, hardware, tools and network configuration
which allow the test team to design and identify the challenges of performance testing in
early. In these options include:
- Production system with lower specification servers

4

- System replica
- Manufacturing system
2. Identify performance of measurements
The success criteria of testing in addition to identify metrics for example response
time and constraints.
3. Plan and design tests for performance
Should identify the scenarios to test to take user variability, testing data and target
metrics and one or two models will be created.
4. Configure the environment
Need to prepare the test elements and the tools which will be needed to watch
resources.
5. Implement the design
The tests should be developed.
6. Perform tests
In addition to performance in testing, the generated data is displayed and
captured.
7. Analyze, report and try again
Should analyze the data, results and share them. Use the same parameters or
different parameters to run the performance tests again.
In failure analysis testing, the main cause for the failure is the multidisciplinary process. During
the analysis, the NTS tool is used including visual inspections, environmental analysis and
chemical, metallography testing. Root causes failure tests are designed to determine the main
courses of the failures and the actions to prevent which is a complicated process.
1: Data collection
- Data collection is the very first step in a root analysis of failure. The NTS will gather
information how the device failed and when it happened during the step.
- We will be conduct in tests on product to analyze during this phase. This will help
determine which components will fail and when the failure will occur.
2: Analyze data collecting to determine the root causes of failure
- The next step in the process of failure is to determine the root causes of the failure. Failure
of the device is seldom the result of a single incident. Even a simple failure has multiple
inputs. There will often different ways to avoid future failure.
- Electronic failure analysis tests show the circuits of the component because the metal
used is of the wrong hardness depending on where the metal is located in the part.
