Introduction to the project

All of our human beings agreed to that the technology has increased the
environment impact on the digital sector and it’s been an operation to treat the environmental risks
with these enhanced technologies. Everyone has the responsibilities to take action on the changes
of globe climate, along with the digital sectors. And so, I have planned and made a project
according to those tasks.

As we ought to keep our environment green and tidy, our organization planned to
restrict the citizens’ action of throwing the trashes recklessly on streets. And so, we, our
organization, agreed to initiate this project for the former purpose. Generally, the project is about
designing the CCTV cameras along with the AI technologies that have the abilities to scan the facial
information of the citizen, the one who litters on the streets and damaging the environment. Along
with scanning, precisely tracking out the data of that citizen’s personal information and addresses
in order to trace the person and later, the punishment. By working out this project our organization
believes that it would have a great impact on controlling the better environment.

Since my project is about to treat the threats and damages such as littering and
pollutions, falling upon the environment, with the use of digital endpoint devices, it must be
matched with the third outline, “impact of digital endpoint devices and ways to reduce
environmental damage.”

Aim and objective

Frist of all, the environment we all living in plays an important role to contribute
the actual impacts on our everyday lives. Having the green environment will enhance citizens'
health and living standards including enforcing to the modernize places of living. On the other
hand, nowadays, in our city, most or the surroundings has been littered and so, having far away
from the situations and conditions I mentioned former. There are impacts such that littering harms
our environment; causing the pollutions and hence, toxins can leach into the ground and
contaminate groundwater, which has consequences for human and animal health. Litter detracts
from the visual appeal of an area, making it look dirty and unpleasant. Litter not only detracts from
a clean appearance, but it also poses health risks.

The only aim for this approach of the project is to keep our environment green,
that is to keep out from trashes on the streets and avoid from the unpleasant littered surroundings.
On the other hand, this project will lead to fix the undisciplined citizens who litters recklessly to
their respective environments and to make the citizens possess the well habits not to throw trashes

easily while walking in the streets. Since the citizens have better mindsets of the drawbacks while
littering the environment, the atmosphere of their livings will be green and fresh in the near future.

The objectives and approaches to this aim will be –

- In the former steps, our organization will seek out for the most and common surroundings
that is being littered. Then, common littered surroundings will have to be spotted.
- Look for the corners and find the best spots to have the best views which will cover the
whole environments, that is for setting up the CCTV cameras.
- Then, the developers in our organization will write programs for the AI technologies which
will be applied in the cameras. And so will have to be ready with the AI programs.
- Later that, the applying and the testing processes will be continued.
- After setting up the programs and cameras on the streets, the other step will be collecting
data and information of the citizens in the area. And so, all the necessary personal data for
all the citizens in the chosen area with be attained from the respective organizations.
- Finally, announcing the citizens about the projects and to behave well according to the
topic, the working process of this project, how the environment is under control by the
cameras, the reveal of the one’s identity when litters, the punishment and long with having
the better environment control.
- After all the above objectives, the final result; keeping our environment green, that is to
keep out from trashes on the streets and avoid from the unpleasant littered surroundings,
will have to be achieved.

Project Management Plan

After I have described the introduction about my project, the aim of the project
why it’s being operated and the objectives to carry out, for now, I would further like to proceed to
my project management plan which will reveal the summarized procedures to be performed in
executing this project. I would like to relate my project management plan as a set of documents
that outline when and how my project is being done and monitored. As my project is about setting
up the cameras with the AI technology to scan and receive the one who litter the environment,
those CCTV cameras will be set on most of the common littered places. Then, I believe that a
better quality of project management plan will lead to accomplish the objectives of the project in
effective and efficient manner, I would build up the project management including these
components;

- the overall costs that will be spent on my project (buying cameras, human resources such
as worker crews, Developers for AI techs, costs for technological components, hardware and
software programs and affording electrical items, etc.)
4
HND-42 Kyaw Lynn Thant
- scope which will cover all the processes in the project (analyzing the spots for the cameras,
collaborations of AI technologies with cameras, setting up cameras, colleting personal data
of citizens in the region, negotiation with stakeholders and announcing the program, etc.)
- Time and schedule (The total amount of time taken for every detailed process in the above
scope to be carried out in a well- time managed manner)
- Quality management of this project (ask the one the citizens who has been affected by this
project program and according to his answers, if there are any necessities, the quality of the
project will be maintained)
- Communication (find best communications with respective stakeholders for the development
of the project)
- Risks and resources that could fall upon this project (analyze the possible risks which can be
encountered and find best solutions to handle)

The above diagram represents the overall operations to be performed in the

project management plan to lead to the project in success. All the involving sectors have been
shown such as cost, scope, time, quality, communication, risks and resources. As in the diagram,
there are 6 portions of plans in the project. All these stages will be performed in the procedural
way to complete the project. According to the figure, costs will be calculated at first, scope will be
carried out next. Then, time and quality of the project will be followed up, moreover,
communication stage will come and finally, risks and resources analyzing will be proceed.
Therefore, all the tasks that I will be discussing according to this project which will be described in
the later sessions, will be sticked to this plan.

Cost management

At this point, I will reveal all the costs which will be spent on this project.
These costs will cover every detail spent during the implementation of this project and spent areas
can be categorized in into such portions; physical components and devices, electrical components,
technical hardware, software, human resources and extra costs.

The above table represents all the detailed costs which will be spent along this
project. For a clear description, I categorized the chart into 5 portions; categories, detail
breakdown of the categories, quantity, costs and subtotals, then, at the bottom of the table, total
cost for the project is displayed. Initially, in the first column, brief group of statements in which
contain the detail processes to be spent are shown. In the 2nd column, every single detailed
breakdown process of the 1st column, that is the staffs to be spent are described. In next column,
the quantity of the items and in 4th, the detail costs of the process are figured. In the 5th column,
the sub-total spent of each group of categories is displayed. In contrast, the total spent of this
project “$53745” is stated in the bottom of the cost table.

Project Scope Management

In this session, I will discuss about how I scope all the processes for this
project after the cost description session. For a scope of a project, it is like a limitation of the
procedures form the initial to the end where the project will be concluded with what task. The
following tasks that I will be describing are only concerned with this project of setting up cameras
with Ai technologies in the common littered places to control the environmental damage. Tasks not
concerning with this topic will not be included as it is about the scope management. Without the
scope of the project, there will be no limitations of the processes to carry out for the project and
so, the project will not be defined when will it have completed. Hence, at this point, I will describe
my scope of the project starting from the beginning procedures to the place where the procedure
will end, that is the final accomplishment. So, basically, what kinds of work will be included in the
scope? The answer will be the actions taken to produce the project's outcomes and the methods
adopted to achieve those outcomes. In below, I will mention about the start from the scope to the
end procedurally, including every process and either the products and items, how they are made
and created.

As in the above diagram, the scope of my project is described. Let’s consider

the border of the circle to be the borderline of the scope. And so, all the inside procedures are

8
HND-42 Kyaw Lynn Thant
limited in a scope. There will be initial process which will lead to the end line task. I will explain
about the tasks in the scope one after another.

- In first category as in the diagram, the organizer will manage the workers (20) who have to
carry out what tasks and managers (2) to supervise them. Then, assign developers (5) to
write programs and test. Then, this process will be done in a day.
- Then, the crews will look out for the locations, the most littered and polluted locations in the
region, where the cameras should be set, that is the corners in the certain streets or roads.
- After clearing the spots, the team will search the suitable and best quality cameras; which
will be able to visualize in either day or night along with better resolutions. Then, afford
finally.
- As a next step, we will make appointments with the citizens, stakeholders, who lives near
the camera set up locations and inspect whether it is comfortable for them and also ask
their suggestions. Then, discuss with the one who would like to invest money in our project.
The limitations of stakeholders will be about 10 people.
- After that, labors will work out for the place to work for the developers. They will build up
the computers with the hardware, CPU, GPU, RAM, Mother board etc. Later, software
programs form creating AI techs will be inserted in the computer hardware.
- Next, when the hardware and software set ups are done, developers will start working out
with the AI programs to be collaged with the cameras. After writing the programs, the
developers will test for errors and if the program is going all well. Then, the program will be
inserted in the cameras using digital devices.
- On the day of setting up cameras, some team members will set up the television monitors
in the work stations, and the other will set up cameras in the defined spots, then, connect
the monitors through the devices along with electrical connections.
- After setting up, crews will collect the citizens data, such as name and address from the
respective organizations in the region to insert in the program.
- On the other hand, the workers will work out for the decorations for the announcing
ceremony. Meet with the citizens, stakeholders and communicate with them to control the
quality of the project.
- Finally, possible risks that could fall onto this project will be determined and if found, will be
handled to continue this project.

Collecting Requirements

In former session, I have defined a limited scope of the processes in my project

and for now, I would further like to describe about collecting the requirements such as; items
which will be applied in the project, software programs, components and human resources. Most of
9
HND-42 Kyaw Lynn Thant
the things will be collected according to the figured items form the cost management table. So, at
this point, some of the staffs will be collected successfully but on the other hand, some will be
failed in collecting and how alternations occurred will be show in the following table;
