Test procedure
A. Place the test samples in a dual zone thermal shock chamber and adjust the temperature zones to +85 ± 2 °C and -40 ± 2 °C.
B. Maintain the test samples at -40 ± 2 °C for 30 minutes.
C. Transfer the test samples from the -40 ± 2 °C zone to the +85 ± 2 °C zone within < 30 seconds.
D. Maintain the test samples at +85 ± 2 °C for 30 minutes.
E. Transfer the test samples from the +85 ± 2 °C zone to the -40 ± 2 °C zone within < 30 seconds.
F. Repeat the thermal cycles (steps B through E) for a total of:
i. 200 times (First instance).
ii. 400 times (Second instance).
iii. 100 times (Third instance).
G. Return the test samples to room temperature (+23 ± 5 °C) at a rate not to exceed 4 °C/min prior to removing from the test chamber.
