GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY

HOST Good morning, fellow JCI members, sisters, and guests!

Welcome to Rev. Fr. Vincenzo Ida Children’s Home,
here, in Rosario, Batangas.

We are gathered today for the groundbreaking ceremony

of our gift for our little children.

Let us formally begin our program with the JCI Creed.

HOST (If someone will lead)

May I call on the 2022 ______________________ to

lead us in the recitation of the JCI Creed. Please all
stand.

HOST Please take your seat, everyone.

Muli po, magandang umaga sa ating lahat. Ako po si Anj

Llanes from JCI Lipa. Ako po ang Chairperson ng project
na i-groundbreak natin ngayon araw. I am very happy to
be here with you all in making this project possible and
running.

HOST We have with us today the 2022 JCI Lipa President,

Pres. Bea Robles for an Opening Remarks.

HOST Thank you, Pres. Bea.

HOST Moving on, masayang masaya po kami na pinaunlakan at

tinanggap niyo po ang aming munting regalo sa mga
bata. Salamat po sa pagtanggap sa amin. Please
welcome, Sister Janet for a welcoming remark.

HOST Thank you, Sister Janet.

respond to the speech)

HOST We will now proceed to the next part, the most exciting
part.

But before that, may we request again Sister Janet for a

prayer before we formally proceed to the ceremonies.

(Burying)
This time we will be burying the capsule containing the
perspective of the site and the project. This signifies the
strong commitment and genuine intention of the
organization in gifting this project to our kids. May we
invite the representative of the Children’s Home and the
JCI BODs to please join in burying the capsule.

(Distribute shovel to the highest-ranking officials of both

organizations)

Now that the capsule has been set. We will all together
bury it as we further strengthen our partnership and
fulfilling our duties as creators and mediators of
 sustainable solutions and positive change in bridges and
gaps of the community and its people.

We will take some photos with the shovel before we

proceed.

(Bury the capsule with lupa using the pala. Go!)

(Gather the kids to the wall)

(Assist the kids with the paint. Guide them to where to

sawsaw their hands and where to put the hand print.)

We have with us the kids – the beneficiaries of our
project. Bilang malaking at pinakanatatanging bahagi sila
ng proyektong ito, kabilang sila sa magbibigay buhay
dito. Sabay sabay natin tunghayan ang pagbibigay kulay
nila sa pader na magsisilbing lagda ng mga bata. Ang
kanilang mga hand print bilang tanda ng buong pusong
pasasalamat at pakikibahagi nila sa proyektong ito; na
dahil sa kanila at para sa kanila ito.
