Pedro and Jaime

Class 5

Part One:

Homework: -Write a paragraph between 100 to 200 words talking about what you would do in
Yellowstone National park.

Jaime:

What would I do if I went to Yellowstone?

If I were lucky enough to travel to the United States and have the opportunity to visit

Yellowstone National Park, the rst thing I would do would be to contact a top-level tour

guide. For that I would call Norman, my nephew, the family globetrotter. He currently lives

in the US with his wife and recently bought a small mobile home, ideal for traveling. I

would ask him to take us in a tour of Yellowstone, starting with Yellowstone Lake, which is

located in the caldera of the super-volcano.

Earthquakes are a topic that has always interested greatly. Therefore, on the trip I would

like to visit Quake Lake, which originated in 1959 as a result of a 7.2-magnitude

earthquake in the area.

I can't pass up the opportunity to meet the most famous geyser in the park, Old Faithful,

and also the largest, Steamboat in the Norris Basin.

I wouldn’t only go to see landscapes, I’d go to have the opportunity to appreciate up close

the greatness of the giant bison, lynx, grizzly bears, and deer. In short, all the fauna that

can be seen.

Pedro:

The Yellowstone National Park is a very interesting park, because it has beautiful places

and many things for whom enjoy the nature. If I could visit it, I would visit it’s geothermal

hot springs, geysers and each of the places where you can see nature. The opportunity

o ered to travellers by The Yellowstone National Park is one of a kind, and it is the kind of

adventure to remember.

Compared to other national parks that can be found in the world, The Yellowstone

National Park is one of the few where visitors can nd such diverse adventures, and all of

them will impress you. So, taking a trip to this place is guaranteed fun.
