1. WHAT IS THE MEANING OF EMOTION?


Emotion is a natural feeling or reaction prompted by instinct unconsciously or automatically in how one acts or behaves in a
certain situation. It can greatly affect the decision making, the lifestyle one embraces and how one relates to others.
2. WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN WE SAY SOMEONE IS MANAGING HIS OR HER EMOTIONS?
When we say that someone is managing his or her emotion means that that person is in control of his/her emotion, that
he/she has a higher emotional intelligence who are capable of managing his/her emotion in a healthy way since he/she is
the one who perfectly knows and assign the emotions that means to him/her.
3. ACCORDING TO OUR LESSON WHAT IS THE BEST WAY IN ENHANCING HIS/HER SPIRITUALITY?
According to our lesson the best way in enhancing one’s spirituality through constant reflections and meditation of one’s
life choices and decisions, developing one’s empathy and compassion toward the people around us, and by having faith to
God who is the higher being.
4. ACCORDING TO OUR LESSON WHAT IS THE MEANING OF RELIGIOSITY?
Religiosity means that one’s commitment to one’s belief, values, and practices in a particular religious sect where he/she
belongs
5. HOW SPIRITUALY IS BEING RELATED TO RELIGIOSITY?
Spirituality is being related to religiosity since both possesses a higher and greater power that we acquired as a result of our
personal, social, and environmental factors that we experience or went through in our lifetime.
6. HOW MAYER, SALOVEY AND CARUSO DEFINED EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE?
According to Mayer, Salovey and Caruso, emotional intelligence is the ability of one’s individual to understand, perceive,
comprehend and manage his/her emotion in the environment where one finds himself/herself in.
7. HOW EQ IS BEING MEASURED DURING ANXIETY-PROVOKING TESTING?
EQ is being measured during anxiety-provoking testing by the way one achieves success and exhibit flexibility skills in
dealing with their superior, colleagues, and subordinates. Self-reports and assessment tools like modules will also be a
great aid to measure the emotional intelligence of the person.

 Self-perception – is the way an individual picture out the image or a certain situation in one self and mind.

 Stress management – is the way we deal with the stress and anxiety in our daily life.

Myers and his colleagues defined spirituality as one’s personal and private beliefs that surpasses or goes beyond on the
material or earthly aspects of life by giving it a deep sense of wholeness, connectedness, and openness to God, the infinite.
10. WHAT ARE COGNITIVE COVERT STRATEGIES?
Cognitive Covert Strategies is the strategies used in emotional regulation in the form of experiential avoidance of thoughts
and feelings that are painful, rumination or repeated contemplation, acceptance and distraction in order to avoid the
negative impacts of unpleasant emotions.
11. HOW PUCHALSKI DEFINED SPIRITUALITY?
Puchalski defined spirituality as the part of our self which is associated on one’s individual process of seeking and
expressing the meaning of life and on how one relates or connect oneself to others, to the present situation and to the
environmental factors including those sacred and significant part.
12. IN EMOTIONAL REGULATION WHAT IS SUPRESSION?
Suppression in emotional regulation is the denial and masking or hiding of one’s facial expression and one’s current
emotional state in a certain situation.
13. HOW GOLEMAN DEFINED EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE?
According to Goleman, emotional intelligence is the extent of acknowledging one’s own feeling as well as the feeling of
other people by encouraging ourselves and managing our emotions effectively toward ourselves and others.

manifest in yourself as well as of others.

1. HOW WOULD YOU DEFINE YOUR EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN INTRAPERSONAL AND INTERPERSONAL MATTER?
I define my emotional intelligence in intrapersonal and interpersonal matter as an EQ that not yet have a strong foundation
and still in need of a lot of improvement. In intrapersonal matter, I still have a lot of things in emotional state and feeling
that I still need to process and address. Like for example in my emotional state and feeling now that still on the process of
accepting the sudden death of my mother. In interpersonal matter, in how I relate with other people as an introvert I find it
really hard to relate myself with other people and to adjust easily to any situation I am in.
2. WHAT IS YOUR BEST DEFINITION OF SPIRITUALITY AND HOW DO YOU APPLY IT IN YOUR PERSONAL LIFE?
For me, spirituality is not just a belief to God but it is a life that gives a sense of meaning and values to one’s self, to others
and to every situation of life. I think I can apply it in my personal life by using it as a means to guide me in all my decisions
and undertaking.
3. HOW DO YOU APPLY BEHAVIORAL/OVERT STRATEGY IN DEALING WITH AN ANGER-PROVOKING MOMENT?
I do apply behavioral/overt strategy in dealing with an anger-provoking moment by choosing to do other things and
activities that might help release my anger. It can be done by doing social activities to distract and divert our attention and
emotion from angerprovoking moment.
4. Jesus Said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. -John 14:6 (NLT)
HOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS?
For me this verse means that there is no other way, truth and life except Jesus which can leads us to the Father. That there
is no other means of salvation except through Jesus Christ. It is also a reminder and an invitation by Jesus to all of us that to
have faith in Him and his saving word in everything that happen in our life. To develop a good relationship with the Lord, we
must learn to entrust and surrender our life to Him and let allow Him to take the course of our life.
