Ancient Egypt Presentations

You will be divided into groups to present a topic of Ancient


Egyptian History to the class. THe presentations will include
the information gathered on the topic from your magazine spread
and other articles.

The presentation must include:


A) Visual: A powerpoint presentation (GoogleSlides) with at
least 3 slides. The slides must include pictures and
information, look neat and organized, and the space should
be used well (No more than 10 words per slide). 50 pts.)

B) Presentation: An oral presentation of your research using


your powerpoint (at least 3 minutes long). (40 pts.)

C) Test Questions: You will create 5 test questions for the


test at the end of the unit. Make sure the questions you
ask cover the most important concepts. Be sure to include
the answers to these questions in your presentation. (10
pts.)

Each part of the project will be graded and the entire project
will be worth 100 pts.
Facilitator:
- Makes sure that all group members understand the concepts and the group’s
conclusions.
- Starts the meetings, introduces each topic, and keeps the group on task and
oriented towards its goals.
- Ensures that the group completes its tasks before deadlines.

Recorder:
- Takes notes during meetings to keep a record of what has been decided, tasks
that have been assigned, when meetings are scheduled, etc.
- Summarizes discussions and decisions for the rest of the group.
- Presents group material to the teacher.

Resource Manager/Checker:
- Checks for clarity and accuracy in the project.
- Makes sure that materials are distributed and working. Problem solver with
technology.
- Makes sure that all materials are cleaned up.
