Tuck Everlasting Final Project Options

We have finished reading Tuck Everlasting, and now it is time to show me your
understanding through a final project of your choice. All options will be due on the
same day. Be prepared to share informally with the class!

All projects are worth 50 total points.

1. Create a map of Treegap with all of the details:


a. Cottage, cows, path, woods, tree, spring, jail, gallows, etc (More details
that the book mentions). (30 pts)
b. Include a key if necessary.
c. Map should be colorful, neat, accurate, and the entire space should be
filled. (15 pts)
d. No grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes (5pts.)

2. Create a 3-dimensional diorama of a scene in a chapter that you think is


important.
a. Diorama should be neat, detailed, and accurate to the scene depicted. (30
pts)
b. Turn in a one paragraph summary of the scene and why you chose it
along with the diorama. (20 pts.)

3. Write a fairytale! (GoogleDocument)


a. Fairytale must have an element of magic (10 pts)
b. Must have a clear setting, plot, and conclusion and a protagonist and an
antagonist (35 pts)
c. No grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes. (5pts)

4. Create a travel brochure (Canva) for Treegap and includes:


a. Things to do, places to visit, people to know, weather, quotes from the
book, a minimum of 3 images, events that take place, cautions, etc. (30
pts)
b. Brochure should be colorful, neat, accurate, and the entire space should
be filled (15 pts)
c. No grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes (5pts.)

5. As a way to explain the circle of life, Angus Tuck uses the movement of the
pond’s water as a metaphor. Create a diagram of your own life cycle diagram
project.
a. Diagram should be accurate and well-researched using the internet.
Sources must be included. (30 pts.)
b. Diagram should be neat and colorful. (15 pts.)
c. No grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes (5pts.)
