Congratulation!
You are about to start with your Final Project:

The Lego Miniature Display Set

For this final project you have to imagine
that the display set is a setting
made out of geometric design elements ,
principles and spaces that express the Legos
miniature characteristic or aim or journey or a
specific scene or activities etc. related to the
miniature character.

Your DPJ 03 task is to:

1. To present 3 ideas for the Miniature Display set
design.

2. You will have to show a minimum of one model

per idea. (so total 3 models minimum)
3. Each idea will need to have a design process.
Please pin it up. Do include inspirational images.
4. The model should be the correct scale for your
Lego miniature.

5. You may use any material for the model. It is a

mock up model. Maximum 3 types of material.
6. All sketches and design process should be
pinned up on A4 or A3 papers.

8. For the 3 options choose a keyword or journey

etc from DPJ 02 and transform it into a display set.
9.The aim is to create a display set that
demonstrate the miniature character or journey or
aim or habits or a scene from the cartoon or
movie.

10. The display set should NOT be a direct

translation. Example; if it was Batman, please do
not show us a cave. However you can transform
that cave into geometric elements to express the
feeling of a cave.

11. Please refer DIAGRAM ONE for the size of the

model that you are making.
12. Read up on space in the DK Ching Book and
try to apply the addition and subtraction
techniques.
