BSET 3A

In this case, When the driver was driving the car during a bad rainstorm then suddenly a drunk
man came in front of the car from nowhere and the driver checked how badly the dunked hurt and it
demanded to lend him money. The ethical dilemma here is the driver could run away since no one sees
and the accident is unintentionally or the driver could either call the police and take any responsibility to
the accident. The Driver was aware that he could might be charged for hitting the guy with the car but
during investigation, the driver might be declared innocent because it was raining and didn’t hit the
drunk man intentionally. In this case, the driver of the car is more accountability in the accident. Since
according to the case statement, the driver drives the car during bad rainstorm, in this scenario the
driver should be more careful and aware in his surroundings while driving. Even if the driver who
crashed had been drinking, he still has the responsibility to treat and check the health of the guy. The
driver will have to go through procedures from the court and pay fine because the man hit should be his
responsibility.
