Core Systems Upgrade
Technical Assistance
• Began in February 2017
• Support for a new passenger services system, e-
commerce platform, and air passenger and cargo
revenue accounting systems
• The goal was to help VNA meet International Air
Traffic Association’s (IATA) requirements and to
compete with other low cost competitors.
• Following the completion of the TA, Sabre Airlines
Systems won a contract for VNA’s Internet booking
engine and passenger service system, which has
resulted in other success in Southeast Asia.
