OATHTAKING OF OFFICERS
SCB Adviser:
Reverend Father Elpidio Biliran Jr, our school director; Reverend Father Solomon
Jardinero, our assistant school director and finance officer; Ms. Marilou Lunar, our
school principal, to our lay administrators, faculty, and staff, and to the whole
studentry of Malate Catholic School
I present to you, the student coordinating board for the school year 2022 - 2023 for
their oathtaking.

The officers will be called one by one.

Presider:
Please raise your right hand and repeat after me.

I, _____(state your name)_________, accept the mission entrusted to me as (state

your position).

I pledge to commit myself / to be an exemplary model of Christian Faith and

humble service / by being a true witness of God’s presence / and by being devoted to the
duties and responsibilities assigned to me. / May I become a person / who strives to grow
in holiness daily / following the virtues of faith, hope, and charity. / As a student leader
of Malate Catholic School, / I will faithfully adhere to the mission, vision, and core
values. / I will constantly obey the Lord’s command to love my neighbor/ and to perform
this mission of Catholic Education/ with solidarity, service, love for the poor, excellence,
and forgiveness/ for the greater glory of God.

So help me God.

BLESSING OF STUDENT OFFICERS

The presider extends his hand over the student officers.

Let us pray. (pause)

Loving God,
in Your love for us, You sent Your Son
to be our Shepherd and Leader,
our Brother and our Lord.
 You continue to show Your love for us
by sending us leaders to care for Your people.

Bless + these student leaders as they take up the responsibility

of Student Coordinating Board.
Guide them in their work,
fill them with patience and love,
and let your Spirit of wisdom and understanding be with them
and give them joy and peace in their hearts.

We ask this prayer

through Jesus Christ Your Son
in the love of the Holy Spirit,
God forever and ever.

Amen.

The presider sprinkles them with holy water without saying anything.
