same list, think of ways you can further enhance your strengths and write them opposite your
strengths. For your weaknesses, think of how you can surpass or change them, and write it

B. Go to https://www.16personalities.com/personality-types to find your personality type. Take

the test and answer the questions honestly. Once you are done, the website will provide
comprehensive explanation about your personality. Read over the three categories: "Strengths
and Weaknesses", "Career Paths" and/or "Friendship" (and any of the others if you like).
C. Write two-paragraph reflection about the findings from the 16 personalities test and your
answers in part A.

After doing this task, I gain so much realization about myself. I realized that in my 17
years of existence in this world, I can say that I still don't know myself very well. I realized that my
knowledge of myself was only superficial or shallow. I also realized that I think I was just
pretending I knew myself back then because if I compare the way I knew myself before to the
present, I can say that they are not compatible — there is a big difference between them. How
did I say? I said all of that because this task took me many hours to ponder my weaknesses and
strengths; even on the 16 personality test, it took me some time before I decided what to answer.
Honestly, I couldn't answer the questions quickly because I was thinking about whether what I
was saying was true. Every detail of what I had stated undergoes careful assessment because if
I rush and take things lightly, the purpose of the activity, which is for us to know ourselves,
seems to lose its meaning.

Let's move on to my insight about the outcome of my task on parts A and B. I am

surprised with the result because after I explored the outcome, I found that they are connected
and resemble somehow, which means I did the activity correctly — I met the purpose of the
activity. In addition, I am happy because I feel like I have met my true self. According to
16personalities, I have a turbulent defender personality which means I am efficient and
responsible and always opt for practicality in my daily life. Next, when we are talking about my
role, I am sentinels, which means that I am cooperative, hard-working, meticulous, practical, and
prefer to stick to my original plans. And when it comes to strategy, according to 16personalities
my strategy is a constant improvement which means I am quiet, individualistic, perfectionistic,
and success-driven and put a lot of time and effort to ensure the quality of my work. While on
part A, I discovered that I still have a lot to work on — I realized that I still have many
weaknesses, which are okay because it is a normal part of humans. I will just think that knowing
my weaknesses is a good thing because it will be easier for me now to improve because I know
where I'm weak. To summarize, all of those findings, for me, are useful because it makes me feel
at ease — because of that finding, my anxiety about what others think about me has decreased.

ASSESSMENT TASK 2.
LIFE ROAD MAP
Instructions:
1. Create your own life road map. This map includes the following:
 With the day you were born (as your starting point);
 A minimum of 5 events that represent your past;
 A minimum of 3 events that you image or would like to be part of your future; and
 Your main goal in the future (as the ending point)
2. You must include a symbol or picture that represents each selected event. The picture should
give an indication of how you felt about the event.

MY LIFE ROAD MAP
When referring to the streets and roads, a road map, according to Oxford Languages
(n.d.), is one that we use to navigate while driving from one location to another. Its vital function
is to guide or lead us to a place we are planning to go to or one we are unfamiliar with so that we
will not get lost. However, a road map in this activity is referred to as a plan or strategy that aims
to accomplish a specific goal (Oxford Languages, n.d.). Its main objective is to get the students
to reflect and ponder their past experiences and life aspirations.

It is how I illustrate the road map of my life (please refer to the picture above); as you can
see, it is simple yet detailed in information. In this section of the essay, I will try to recapitulate all
of the events that occurred in my past as well as what will occur in the future, so let's get started.
I was born on December 5, 2004, and this is where my life journey began. If I were to describe
this stage of my life, I would say, it was the happiest because I was not yet aware of how difficult
life was. At the age of five, I developed an interest in drawing and coloring. As far as I recall,
when I was in elementary school, my teacher and classmates would always compliment me on
how good I was at making art. They say I have an artistic and creative mind, which is why I
always participate in our school's poster competition, and I'm happy because I often win. Since
many people believed in my abilities, I decided when I was 11 years old that I wanted to be an
engineer someday. I promised myself, at the time, that I would follow in my father's footsteps
because I adored him. However, all my dreams flew away when I turned 13 because I developed
insecurities and lost my interest in art. At that time, I was unsure about what I should do because
I used to think that I was doing my best, but it turned out that what I was doing was just
mediocre… COVID-19 began when I was 15, and this is the stage of my life where I feel like I'm
starting over. I felt like I was starting over because I was unsure of what I wanted to do with my
life. Here, I drowned myself in exercising, enhancing my physique, and seeking advice from my
parents so I could be more specific about what I desired. And thankfully, all my efforts have been
fruitful because I now know what I want in the future; to become a doctor. As part of my future, I
am expecting myself when I turn 26 to become a full-fledged doctor. At the moment, I foresee
myself carrying out my responsibilities with dignity and respect. Also, by that time, I expect to be
financially stable enough to help more people, which is what my parents want and, of course,
what I want, too. I will try my best to help and treat them with or without payment because this
was what I promised as a doctor. And when I am 27 and have saved enough money, I would like
to open a small clinic that I will lead and grow. Last but not least, when I turn 30, I want to be
successful, be with my parents and build a family, and be happy.

To gather all, I have realized that "life is a journey, not a destination" (the saying is from
Ralph Waldo Emerson). This phrase is correct because life, in my opinion, is a continuous
learning process and adventure. Throughout our lives, we will experience problems that will test
our strengths and help us grow, which is we mustn't rush life but enjoy it.
ASSESSMENT TASK 3.
Create a poster with a picture of any other person (celebrity or not) that best represents your
ideal self (physically and character-wise). It must be picture of somebody that reflects how you
want to see yourself, and how you want others to see you as well. Then write a short explanation
as to why you chose that person as your version of “ideal self”.
Oprah Winfrey is one of the world's most well-known talk show hosts and entertainment
producers. She is also known for being a good leader, having a charismatic personality, and
compassion for others. To answer the question, why did you choose that person as my version
of my ideal self, I would say this "I chose her because she inspires me, she possesses all of the
beautiful words that can describe a person, and I want to be as successful as her."
To further explain why I chose Oprah Winfrey as my ideal self, I listed some the
reasons below.
The first reason is her emotional intelligence; she has the ability to control her emotions as well
as understand the feelings of those around her. I want it too because this skill of hers can boost
people’s self-awareness and social awareness and maintain long-term relationships with others.
The second thing I admire about her is her ability to persuade and influence others. She can
impress people through her personality and positive attitude. Also, she makes people feel at
ease by using her excellent influencing and persuasive skills.
The third is she is resilient. Oprah Winfrey was born as the unwed teen's daughter. She had a
difficult childhood; her classmates teased her about her clothes because her family couldn't
afford them for her. She also shared her childhood experience of being abused by relatives
(Britannica, 2022). I want to be like her because instead of giving up, she used her experiences
to become successful and help others. Also, that skills of hers reminded me that we are masters
of our fate.
The fourth characteristic is that she is confident. I want to be self-assured so that I can express
myself freely. Did you know that because of my shyness, I always miss out on many
opportunities, such as recitations in school; even if I know the answer, I won't raise my hand
because I immediately assume I'm wrong.
Finally, she has excellent communication skills. I want to be as good as her at communicating
because the pandemic has affected how I communicate with others. I want to improve this skill
so that it will be easier for me to overcome diversities, build trust and respect, and create
environments conducive to sharing creative ideas and problem-solving.
Again Oprah is my ideal self because possesses so many skills like being emotional intelligence,
resilient, confident and many more. Also, she inspires me to be better and not to give up
because if we give up on our weaknesses, it will be more difficult for us to reach our greatest
dream.
