Need for personality development
Introduction
We observe people who are confident, know their responsibilities, are driven and who keep taking an
initiative to achieve goals. We are moved by such people and have an insatiable desire to be like
them. Emotions are contagious and all of us prefer looking positive rather than being influenced by
negativity. Generally, everybody is attracted to a winner – a person who succeeds. Nobody likes
losing and nobody wants to associate with people who have no initiative in life.
The secret to building a great personality is that you have to build enough confidence which will
enable you to take charge of your life. In turn, you will get easily noticed in any crowd and your
presence will be memorable and the environment that you live in will be joyous and fruitful.
Here‟s something for you to think about – Think of a party that you had recently attended. Can you
pick out the most charming, friendly, instantly likeable and almost over achieving person from that
crowd?
It could be you, too. List the characteristics and have them carefully analyzed.
Remember this: People who made it to the top knew the pains and the agony that they would have to
endure to get there. They had to sacrifice a lot of things. And eventually, success was theirs. They
have reached their goal.

Introduction
All of us are creative in our own ways. We are gifted but none of us make use of that creative bent
when we go to places of work. It is very important to nurture creativity when it comes to problem
solving. In many places of work, what hinders levels of creativity is something all employers are
most concerned with. The importance of being creative only means that life is all about creativity.
Human beings can get or be creative in all areas of life. When we are creative – we find solutions to
our problems. Even in a concept of economic thinking – economists suggest that creative thinking
drives an economy. Creativity is original thinking. When we generate innovative ideas and then have
those ideas brought into reality is creativity and creative thinking.
Creativity comes from the Latin word „creo‟ which means „to create, to make‟. Discovery of new
ideas and thought processes fall into creativity. We have to understand that wherever we are or
whoever we are, people, organizations value us only when we are creative and add value to existing
products or to brand new ideas.
Have you considered the job of a carpenter or a clothes designer or an individual who works at an
advertising concern? All of them have to be constantly creative in order to survive. What they may
know or do not know is the kind of boost they give to the economy at large. Creativity has been
studied in subjects like social psychology, behavioral psychology, cognitive science, artificial
intelligence, psychometrics, philosophy , history, economics, aesthetics, business, management,
design research and others.
