To set the MUX and DMUX of the OptiX OSN 8800, do as follows:

1. On the NMS, set the working band of the board.

2. Connect the logical fibers related to them.

In addition, for the M40V and D40V, when you commission the optical power, you need to set the
insertion loss of V-O-A to ensure that the optical power of all single wavelengths in the optical
signals output by the M40V is flat. And ensure that the optical power of each wavelength output
by the D40V board is within the threshold range of the OTU board.
