Discipline as an Effective Tool to Lessen the Spread of CoViD-19

Description:

One's health is one of the strongest framework of a society. Once health is

compromised, it would cause large impact to all aspects of living. an example of this
certain situation is the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Up until this day there is still no
known cure for COVID-19. the researcher thought of performing a study where
discipline will be the known cure for this pandemic.

Pandemics are large-scale outbreaks of infectious disease that can greatly increase
morbidity and mortality over a wide geographic area and cause significant economic,
social, and political disruption(Jones and others 2008; Morse 1995). A current health
crisis happening in our society is an example. The Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an
infectious disease caused by newly discovered coronavirus. Most people infected with the
COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without
requiring special treatment. The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of
saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes, so it's
important that you also practice respiratory etiquette (WHO, 2020). This health crisis has
already had a large impact to the world in a very short period of time. Most of the
recorded cases of COVID-19 is passed through transmission. Though there are already
released protocols, the spread of this virus haven't changed. Up until now the numbers of
new cases are still reported each day. The researcher suggests that the most effective cure
for COVID-19 is by implementing discipline. Discipline guides a person away from
danger, it helps a person to demonstrate self-control and make appropriate decisions.

The focus of this study is to determine if discipline has an impact on lessening the
spread of COVID-19 in Calapan City. The aspects looked into were the type of
disciplinary action is implemented, and its effect to society.
