The 164-R9859 provides test capabilities for

the NEW Directional Wheel Speed Sensors. SAVES TIME
This unit is fully backwards compatible to the BY REDUCING
older active style sensors. PINPOINT STEPS

FEATURES:
• Includes necessary harness adapters— take the guess
work out of connecting the tool to the vehicle.
• Automatic Detection of Sensor Style — simply hook
the tester into the wheel sensor connectors and turn
on the power. The processor reads the sensor data and
identifies the type of sensor. There are two different
types of directional sensors and the data each provides
is in a unique format.
• Measure for any Current Faults (From Module).
• Output Active Wheel Detection (Two LEDs Alternating).
• Provides Air Gap Faults — Informs the tech when the
sensor air gap is too large (out of range vs. bad sensor).
• Adapters with Hard-shell Connectors Plug Directly Into
Vehicle Connectors.

NOTE: Does not work with passive (Variable Reluctance)

sensors.
