1. The implementation of Modular Distance learning and blended

learning in Capalonga College Inc.

Answer:
The style of education learning modality was changed when the Covid-19
pandemic was spread in more countries and one of that is our country the
Philippines. Because of this situation the Department of Education (DEPED)
along with Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has implemented a
blended learning which refers to face-to-face with any mix of online distance
learning, modular distance learning , and TV/radio-based instruction. The
school of Capalonga College has also implemented a new learning modality
which is the modular distance learning and the online distance learning which
helps students to keep learning even when they are at home and allowed
them to continue their steps towards achieving their dreams. It took a lot of
challenges to those students from the poor family who can’t afford to buy
cellphone or any gadgets that could help them to access internet and to
communicate to their teachers whenever they have queries about their
modules. It is also a challenges to those students from a low area and have
no signal, they need to go on a high place just to get signal and to access
internet to be able to join on their online classes. Students of Capalonga
College had also missed to experience a different activities and events of the
school such as Foundation and Intramurals that celebrated every February
and September including a lot games and contest that may help the students
to boost their self-confidence, intelligence and social skills. Distance learning
may also decrease the students learning competencies because of deficit
physical discussion or interaction with their teachers and classmates which is
very crucial in developing students learning. However, despite of all these
challenges the students of Capalonga College are courageous to overcome
those challenges and they gave their best and expressed their eagerness to
learn and to achieve their dreams even in blended learning.
 2. The Election 2022

Answer:
The upcoming election on May 9, 2022 is became trending topic nowadays.
Millions of people are starting to choose their choosen candidate from
presidential to senatorial aspirants. But it seem that many people have not
enough knowledge to choose their candidates wisely. They easily to persuade
with their flowering words and to their platforms. As a filipino citizen, we
should choose a right leader that we could trust that will lead our country with
adherence and have a credibility to uplift our country in poverty that we
suffering right now and bring the philippines to a brand new era. A president
who will give a bright future for his people by giving a lot of programs that can
help those people from a poor family. We need a leader that knows what’s
best for his country and for his people and a leader who will bring peace and
will be able to stop killings and corruptions. As an individual we should be
wise when it comes in voting, we should examine their personal
backgrounds, platforms, characters,their track record in politics and
governance and even their business interests to be able to us to know if they
deserve to their running position. We filipinos are free to choose of who we
want to vote but be wisely, and don’t be blind with their flowering speeches
and persuading platforms and even their bribes. Let us choose those who will
deserve their positions and bring our country to a wealthy and peaceful
environment.

3. You as a future educator amidst pandemic

Answer:

Two years until now the corona virus disease is still affecting the lives of
people in this country. And this pandemic was brought me a lot of
adjustments and struggles especially in my study. Every single hour is very
important for me because I have a lot of responsibilities in our home.
Responsibility as a head of the family and responsibility as a student. It
became challenge for me because in our place has no signal and I need to
go on a high place to get updates from my teachers and in college. And to be
able to access internet I walked half kilometer from our home just to connect
to Pisowifi to join in online discussion and sometimes I experienced technical
problem when I’m joining zoom meeting and during examination because of
unstable internet connection. It is really hard for me in my situation because I
am also self-supporting on my study, I do tutoring some high school and
elementary students who struggling in their academics and they paying me
which also I used to buy my modules and other school expenses. However,
this pandemic would help me to develop some of my skills such as time
management which helped me to use my time wisely. I give time for my
family and for my study. Pandemic also teach me to be technologically
literate because we are exposed to all types of ways to communicate using
technology and other applications as a source of information that could help
in my self-pace learning. Pandemic has also brought me a lot of lessons, to
take care of my family and to be courageous to face and overcome school
problems and not giving up especially in my study in this time of pandemic.
