Pandora’s Box

The all-famous Pandora's box is also full of moral lessons that will undoubtedly
make you understand that you should begin doing what is right and make positive
changes. One of the lessons I have learned from the story of Pandora's box is the
importance of self-discipline and self-control, because if you reflect back on the story, it
is because of Pandora's curiosity and greediness that the extraordinary box was
opened, allowing the small insects to escape and causing the ills and evils that plague
mankind today.

I can relate to this narrative because, like Pandora, I am curious about the world.
We can't deny that young people nowadays are curious about what is going on around
them. Because of our interest, we are always up to date on other people's problems,
and I can assure you that being curious about this topic will destroy us. As a teenager
who enjoys doing what is hot and current, I noticed a friend of mine playing a popular
game called mobile legends. I downloaded it from the playstore and learned how to play
it since I was inquisitive and wanted to learn how to play this type of game.
I think it will be easy for me because I am good at games.But I didn't realize it would
take me a week to get that game until I was up until the small hours of the morning
playing these games. Even though it states how many minutes I've been playing, I'm not
aware of my time here.

It got to the point where I was so interested in this game that I ended up spending a lot
of money because there was no wifi back then in the province and you had to load more
ML to be able to play, and because I always have to load I save myself when I was
admitted to school, sometimes I don't have a snack just to get home I have enough
money to load and play ML on my cell phone.. I never expected to become addicted to
this type of game driven by my curiosity, to the point where I couldn't do the housework
that my mother had assigned me to do because I was too busy playing ML. As we all
know, this game does not pause and you have no other option if you don't finish your
game or you go afk, which means you won't be able to play the entire game of ML. My
mother used to chastise me for playing that game, to the point where she confiscated my
cellphone so that I could never play it again.

After a few weeks, he returned my smartphone to me, and I apologized and promised
not to do it again. He made me remove the game and threatened to take away my
cellphone if I played it again. I immediately agreed to our deal, but I played it again with
my pals two months later. He had no idea because I was going to graduate from high
school and needed to go to Manila to continue my final year.
As the months passed while I was in Manila, my classmates urged me to use these
gaming applications again, and I didn't anticipate it to become any worse. I've seen many
people on TV who are addicted to ml, and I'm one among them, just like in the news.
There were occasions when I only slept for two hours because I was too dizzy and didn't
have an appetite because I was playing mobile legends. It is difficult to be addicted to ML.
When you wake up in the morning, you look for it to play, causing you to miss breakfast.I
too got to the point of spending a lot of money on the skin in this game. Some of the
people my parents send me to wind up here, and I have no idea how attached I am to this
game. It also interfered with my education at times because I preferred gaming over my
homework.

But one day I recognized where my curiosity had led me. I realized I had never been
like this before.Tintin I know listens to his parents since they know what to do, what is
right and wrong. But I just want to clarify that not everything is negative. The ML game
served as my enjoyment when I missed my parents and missed their presence, and here
I made new friends, individuals who still like me meet, or in short, someone who gave me
a reason that I only met here in these gaming applications. I can say that Mobile Legends
is horrible if you can't control your curiosity, but for me, it's more than just a game; it's
become a part of my life.In this game, I've met many people who are friendly and may be
termed friends; it's not just a game to me; it's also our link. I must admit that this game did
not initially benefit me, but after I recognized where it had taken me, which was far from
what I used to be, I realized and learned how to limit myself. I have had self-discipline
and self-control, which is something I learned from Pandora's box, where he was able to
open the box with only a small insect, which created ills and evils that impact people
today.I've been applying this to myself since since I understood that being excessively
addicted to this game is detrimental for your health and the health of others around you.

Just like Pandora, I also make wrong decisions in life, nothing is perfect right, it is said
that curiosity is what will destroy us but like the contents of the box it has a good side just
like what I experienced it also has a good side so don't be afraid if what are the things we
want to do because this will make us realize how strong and weak we are in what we
have done.
