No person can be discriminated against on the basis of religion, race, caste, place of birth and gender. 3. The benefits of the midday meal scheme are 1, More and more students have started enrolling and attending school because of this scheme. 2.This scheme helps reduce the hunger of poor children. This makes the children concentrate more in studies. 3. This scheme also helps in reducing the caste prejudices because children from all castes and classes sit together and eat their meal. This brings equality among them.
