CONSTRUCTION OF MULTI - PURPOSE HALL PHASE 4

AGUS 5 HEP, BRGY. DITUCALAN, ILIGAN CITY


TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
TS-01 SCOPE

In accordance with the specification provided in the plans, the contractor shall
furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment and other incidentals, and shall
undertake the complete Construction of MULTI - PURPOSE HALL PHASE 4 AT
AGUS 5 HEP, Brgy. Ditucalan, Iligan City.

The activities shall include but not limited to the following:

1. Installation of Window Blinds


2. Carpentry Works
3. Tiling Works
4. Lighting System Works
5. Installation of Glass Wall Panel
6. Painting Works
7. Clean-up Works

Each of the foregoing major activities is further composed of different work a


item which does not necessarily have a recommended sequence, the contractor
can have his own method of doing the work, provided it offers advantage in
time and quality of workmanship.

TS-02 SCOPE

All materials to be used shall be of approved commercial quality and shall be


subject for inspection and approval by NPC Inspector before use.

All materials to be used shall confrom to applicable standard. If upon visual


inspection the materials appear to be of poor quality of fail to meet the
standard, the NPC Inspector has the authority to reject the same out rightly.

2.01 Window Blinds Installation

Shade is mounted inside the window frame, either to the top of the frame of to
the sides and outside the window frame. Mounting screws provided are suitable
for most mounting surfaces. Use an appropriate drill bit and appropriate anchors
before fastening the screws. Pre - drills holes before fastening the screws.

1. Mounting the tab Brackets. Fit the tab bracket onto the end of
shade with the clutch and chain. Hold the shade with the bracket,
fabric rolled up from back of the shade, to where you want to mount
it and make mark for the bracker.

2. Using the pencil mark as a guide, mount the bracket with 2 or more
screws.

3. Mount the pin bracket. Hold the shade in the mounted bracket and
fit the pin bracket onto the other end of the shade with round pin.
Press in about 1/8" for necessary tension. Position the pin brcket so
that the fabric hangs straight and make mark for the bracket.

4. Fitting the shade in to the brackets, First slide the end with pin
into the pin bracket. Hold the roller againts the pin bracket so the
end pin is depressed while fitting the locating hook of the sidewinder
into the tab bracket. Allow the locating hook to drop downward so
that it locks into place in the bracket.

5. To ensure maximum efficiency of the Sidewinder System and to


protect small children from strangulation, you need to secure the
cord loop that raises and lowers the shade by using the attached
plastic tie-down device.

2.02 Carpentry Works for Floor and Wall of Stage

Unit shall have the following characteristics:

a). Floor Joist & Band Joist

2"X10"X12' Hardwood Lumber
b). Wall Framing
2"X2"X12' Hardwood Lumber
c). Floor Laying
4'X8'"X3/4" thickness Marine Plywood

2.03 Lighting System

Unit shall have following characteristics:

LED Chip : 5050
Light Color: RGB
LED Qty : 300 Leds
Beam Angle : 120 Degrees
Size: 5M X 10mm (LXW)

b.) Features
There are 16 million colors and dozens of light changing modes.In addition, this
controller is designed for LED strip, module etc.

It can achieve remote control ,switch light,adjust brightness .

After easy installation and settings, you can use your Phone (IOS 6.0 or Android
system for Samsung 4.3 version or above) to control.

2.04 Installation of Glass Wall Panel & Glass Door

Unit shall have following characteristics:

2.05 Painting Works

A. Basic Preparation:

All surfaces to be painted shall be examined carefully before


beginning any work.

Begin the work only when the end-user or his authorized


representative has inspected
1. Use scaper to remove and loosen paint film. Then use sandpaper to
smoothen the surface . Dust off.
2. Clear the wall of popped nails and use a filler to fill holes.
3. Use the proper filler to cover cracks and crooked surfaces.

4. Use fine-grit snadpaper to flattern rough spots.


5. Clean surfaces to be painted with water. Dry the surfaces thoroughly
before painting.
6. Use newspaper or protection sheets to cover the furniture, floor and
other surfaces.

7. Use making tape to protect wood works and window frames.


8. Make use of old newspapers, plastic or protection sheets to cover the
floor skirting.
9. Before painting, use a wall sealer to neutralize the alkali on the walls.

B. Basic Preparation:
1. a) Paint the ceiling first
b) Next, paint the cornices
c) The paint the walls
d) Then the woodwork around doors and windows
e) The skirting comes last
2. Edges abd corners are some of the hardest areas to paint so begin
with them using a brush. Use only a third of the end of a brush in
making long and continous storkes to form straight lines.

3. Use a roller or a wide brush for painting the walls. A roller is quicker
to use than a wide brush and it also give the best and down strokes,
overlapping as you move from one area to another.

4. It is ideal to apply tow or more coats of paint. Before painting


another coat of paint, always wait for the previous coat to dry first.
The amount of time required for the each coat of paint to dry should
be on the paint can.

5. After painting, wash all tools used immediately. Use thinner or


turpentine for oil-based paint. Use water for emulsion paint.

C. Kind of paint:
1. All paint necessary materials incorporated in/or forming a part
thereof shall be subject to the prior appoval and selection for color,
tint, finish or shade by the end-user or his authorized representative.

2. All paint materials shall meet the requirements of paint materials,


under classification class a by the Institute of Science. Use Davies
Paints.

3. Except for ready mixed materials in originals containers, all mixing


shall be done in the job site. No materials are to be reduce, mixed or
changed except as specified by the manufacturer.

TS-03 WORKMANSHIP

The contractor shall perform all activities necessary for the satisfaction,
completion of the project including but not limited to following.

3.01 Mobilization

The contractor shall bring to the site all necessary tools, equipment and other
incidentals necessary for the proper execution of all activities. He shall
construct a bunkhouse for the workmen and for the storage of construction
materials.

3.02 Clean-up Works

The contractor, before moving out must restore the orderly state of
morksite by clearing all temporary structures. Remove all
excess/waste materials and store in designated areas. Backfill all
trenches and keep the surrounding in order.

3.03 Demobilization

Before the contractor will demobilize its construction equipments


tools, materials and crew, he shall secure approval from NPC
Inspector in order to conduct final inspection. This is to make sure
that all his accomplishment/work that need remedial attention or
correction shall be done prior to the issuance of the Certificate of
completion. The Certificate of Completion will now serve as basis for
the processing of payments.
