1.) Why do we need to study the arts and crafts of Muslim Mindanao?

We need to study them because they're a real reflection of the people it's the expression
of. They exhibit the indigenous' artistic skill as well as their beliefs, traditions, and way of
life, which are all represented in them.

2.) What do the arts and crafts of Muslim Mindanao reveal about the culture, history,
and society of the people?

The arts and crafts of Muslim Mindanao is a fusion of the vivid and rich influences of the
traditional belief system and the designs from the local indigenous population.

3.) How integrated are the arts and crafts of the people of Muslim Mindanao with their way
of life?

An inclusive historic discourse that pays tribute to the diversity of histories, identities
and memories in the country helps students to understand their own roots, get a sense of
belonging and cohesion, overcome stereotypes, gain a better understanding of the root
causes of conflicts, and thus paving the way for long lasting peace.

4.) How did this lesson change your perception of the Muslim Mindanao Culture?

This lesson changed my perception of the Muslim Mindanao Culture by seeing how
creative there are, how independent they are, how they are passionate about their
culture and how hard working they are.
