ACTIVITY 7:

Essay:
1. Are you a member of a group or a number of groups as of the moment? What
type/s of group do you have?
Answer:
Of course,yes.Nowadays,I have two groups where I can be considered as a
member such as task group and friendship group. Task group because I'm currently
working as a part time accounting assistant and in our group we must work together to
complete a certain goal or task within the day or month.
While friendship group is where I always a member on the past years.We
were brought together because of our common interest which is our course
"Accounting" and our attitudes or beliefs.This is the group where I always
comfortable to be with in all circumstances or situations.

2. What role are you assuming in your group in your opinion? Why did you
think that is your role in your group/s ?
Answer:
In my two groups which is task group and friendship groups,I have different
roles. In task group,my role can be knowledge contributor, process observer,and
listener because sometimes I teach in cost accounting about certain system like VSBO
and I think I'm always a process observer where I learn to adjust to different situations
by observing other people tasks or job and lastly listener.It is very important to listen
first to your bosses before doing anything in order to avoid making a mistake and
always listen to them first then confirm their opinions about it.
While in friendship group,I can be knowledge contributor,people supporter,
listener, mediator,and take-charge leader.Sometimes I give my friends additional
information about something I finished first and when one of my friends have
problems especially in their love life .I can be both a supporter and listener and when
there's a time that two of my friends quarreled ,this is where I become also a mediator
and I don't favor any of them instead I hear their each side first then make a decision
on how to solve their problem.
Moreover ,sometimes I became a take -charge leader even if I have no choice
because they decide it for me. Overall,I was happy as long as I can help other people
especially my friends.
