1 – General information about the company I choose:


• Company name: The company name is Madwise
• Legal entity form: it is a Limited liability company, its name is Madwise d.o.o.
• Type of business: Madwise is a service business. Madwise provides website design,
content marketing automation, SEO, digital strategy, Google Ads and Facebook ad
services.
• Size: It has currently 22 employees.
• Location: Madwise is headquartered at Ljubljana and more precisely at Tržaška c. 2,
1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia. Also main of their market is based in Slovenia (share of visit
of their website 97%) and a bit in Croatia (share of visit of their website 2%). However,
they are planning to implant one of their service, SEO, in Germany.

2 – Madwise company is a private company and as stated above it is a Limited liability


company. In 2019, they were placed in the highest grade of excellence rating (AAA) and were
classified as one of the digital agencies with the strongest revenue growth in Slovenia.

3 – The financial data are going to be focused on basic information. First, the revenue of
Madwise is 999,901.24 euros in 2021. To understand the company growth, there is also the
profit margin that is 6.16% which is still a low profit margin compared to the average that
should be around 10% but in consideration of the profit margin of 2020 (=2.57%) is
considerably better and in a good journey. Also, it is important to factor is the return on equity
that is about 93.06% which is incredibly high and means that investors put a lot of money in
the company, and they are getting paid back and so will be willing to put more money for the
sake of the company in the future.

4 – Madwise company purpose is to focus on efficient and measurable solutions for digital
marketing aspects. They make the difference first thanks to their knowledge on the SEO and,
for each challenge, they rely on a reliable process that has been perfected over 100 projects.
They have combined it into a holistic and complex approach, with the Madwise pyramid. It
concentrates on the client's online presence as a whole and not just on an individual part,

5 – Madwise goal is in short-term be implemented in Germany mainly for the SEO services and
long term would be to be implemented in all Europe for all the services.

7 – The customer segment of Madwise is mainly B2B company. They are targeting small and
medium companies in Slovenia and a bit in Croatia. Those companies are media-orientated;
and they are trying to reach their customers through internet.

8 – First, let’s name the different competitors: this include Actuado, Land digital and Melt
Creative. The first company is the only other Slovene company in this sector. The element that
differentiates Madwise from Actuado is the SEO, which Actuado does not. Also, according to
Irma Suigoj, the CEO of Madwise, what differentiate them from the competitors is the
knowledge especially in SEO.

9 – Madwise differentiate itself thanks to the relationship to the clients. They take about 5 to
10 clients a month and so they have time to elaborate a strategy and to really listen and
understand the needs of the client.
