Analyze the problems of quality assurance system in Education. (20 marks)

I will analyze the problems of Thai educational system in general. One of the major problem in
continuous low quality of Thai education system is from the lack of Quality control in terms of Man.
What I mean is lack of competent foreign teachers. The standards or policies set by Ministry of
Education are not very clear and therefore many foreigners who are highly incompetent get the job as
teacher. For example many Caucasian teachers who are not from educational background, are
employed to teach just because of their skin color. No clear policies has been set which define that a
teacher who is employed to teach a specific subject must have educational background of that subject.
If we compare it with other countries, there policies are quite clear. For example in India a teacher who
is employed to teach Science must have Bachelor of Education in Science to be able to employed as
teacher.

Second problem is inequal allocation of resources. The school in major cities are allotted high budgets
compared to school in rural areas. This then leads to the problem of having limited or no resources for
the schools in rural areas.
