This year, we brought on a site coordinator to communicate with families, supervise program, and
assist teachers, including substitute for their classes when needed. One of our students, a senior,
Allen Bryant, received a D’Addario Foundation College Scholarship. Two of our Teaching Artists
attended the YOLA National Symposium in October, from the 20th-23rd. In November, we
transitioned the role of program director to Shahid Osuna, a CA Emerging Artist Fellows grant
recipient.
In Fall 2021, we extended our Pre-Orchestra classes to include an additional 2nd/3rd grade class
on top of our pre-existing Tk/K and 1st/2nd grade classes.
