Write about your school, your class, your teachers, and your
classroom the subjects you’re studying this year and the school
atmosphere. Where is the school? What is like? How many pupils
are there in your class? Which subjects do you prefer? Why? what
are your teachers like?:severe,kind,excellent etc

Warm up: 1/Have an open class discussion with Ss about the circus. Ask questions
like “have you ever been to a circus?” “What did you see?” to try to elicit vocab they already
know.

2/ Use the pictures worksheet to pre-teach key vocab from the song.

Listening1: children listen to the song and put the pictures on the worksheet in the correct
order according to the song.

Listening2: Children listen again and put the verses in the correct order on the worksheet.

Practise: Elicit from the Ss what the different circus performers do: example: what does the
strongman do: he lifts weights with one hand/ what do the clowns do? The fall down in a
pile.

Production:Ss can do some creative writng, for example, imagining that they have been to the
circus and describing their day
