1. Expound police patrol operation in the Philippine setting.


The core element of police work, a patrol operation, constitutes the backbone of
law enforcement. This type of police operation is carried out to eliminate
opportunities for criminal activity and lessen the possibility of locals becoming
victims of crime. It also involves intervention in order to enforce the law and to
engage the community.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) claims that through overseeing police patrol
operations, they give appropriate regulations and required guidelines that may
unleash the individual potential of the Patrollers to effectively achieve the
objectives of the organizations and win the community's respect. In our drive to
greatly reduce the incidence of street crimes and other dangers that could
happen to people, police patrol effectiveness on an individual basis is expected
to provide considerable outcomes.

2. What is hot spot, criminality and crime mapping?


These are the essential tools in managing, preventing and controlling crime in an
area. It also helps to locate and understand the locations of suspicious criminals.

The hot spot analysis is the foundation of a police operation in order to identify
high-crime areas and types of crime being committed. The Hot spot analysis is
mostly conducted in the street crimes because in that way they allocate the
criminals and they have the ideas of the events of the criminals. In addition, It
detects places in a location where locals feel comfortable and unsafe. This
information is utilized to create dangerous regions by altering the physical
environment or social atmosphere of the area.

Criminality is the root of the field of police operations since their goal is to
improve and strengthen the criminal justice system by reducing or preventing
crime.

The criminality is still widespread in our world and that is why law enforcement
are evolving and enhancing their advanced knowledge and technologies to crime
detection.

Crime Mapping is the strategic planning used by law enforcement organizations


to map, illustrate, and analyze criminal incidence trends It is a crucial element of
both the CompStat police approach and crime analysis. Using Geographic
Information Systems (GIS), crime analysts may map crime to pinpoint crime
hotspots as well as other trends and patterns.

3. Elucidate law enforcement operation in relation to criminal investigation?


The law enforcement operation in connection to the criminal investigation is that
they are the one who make effective planning or searching to navigate criminality.
Moreover, their goals are to investigate the one who has possession of power
that could harm people in the society. Lastly, Law enforcement personnel may
conduct effective investigations with the aid of access to tools and resources, as
well as training in research-based investigative techniques.

4. What is significance of deadly force and reasonable force in actual


operation?
The significance of deadly force and reasonable force in actual operation is that
to empower their duty to have an efficient law enforcement duty. However, before
using physical force to accomplish a legal goal, law enforcement agents should
be practicable in the use of nonviolent tactics. Additionally, they must have
protective equipment to make sure that anybody in the area cannot be
systematized of harm.

It states that the police may only use physical force when it is absolutely
essential and only to the degree necessary to accomplish a legal goal. As a
result, using force as a means of extrajudicial punishment or out of revenge is
never acceptable. Last but not least, after the necessity has gone and a suspect
has been securely and legally held, no further use of force is permitted.

5. Why is Miranda Rights the essence of rules on engagement in every


operation?
Miranda rights in the essence of rules on engagement in every operation is that
some of the Filipino mostly indigent people didn't know their rights when they
were committing criminal liability and also they were protecting the rights of the
people. Furthermore, It is acceptable to refuse to make an admission. Remember
that Miranda rights do not become valid unless an arrest has been conducted.

It is still essential today because many people think that if they are detained and
not "read their rights," they will get away with it and not face any consequences.
