Digital Images: Raster Vs Vector format

Vector :

It is preferred for graphics and logos. Vector files are mathematical, made of lines and points,
which basically means they retain sharpness regardless of screen size or resolution. Your
graphic will never become blurry.

SVG is the only available vector format.

Raster :

Raster files are made of pixels, or single points of colour. They appear blurry when scaled
upwards and on higher resolution screens.

PNG, GIF, and JPG are raster formats.

Color models: RGB, HSB, Grayscale

 RGB (Red, Green, Blue)
This color model is the most known, and the most used every day. It defines a color
space in terms of three components: Red, Green and Blue.
 HSB (Hue, Saturation, Brightness)
This color model defines a color space in terms of three constituent components:
Hue: the color type (such as red, blue, or yellow).
Saturation: the intensity of the color.
Brightness (or Value): the brightness of the color.
 Grayscale
Grayscale is the collection or the range of (gray) shades, ranging from pure white on
the lightest end to pure black on the opposite end.
