Do the qualities called for in the ideal Renaissance man and woman
seem to emphasize the individual or the group?

all things avoiding ostentation [showiness] and that
impudent [bold] self-praise by which men ever excite
hatred and disgust in all who hear them. . . .

in letters, at least in those studies that are called the
humanities, and conversant not only with the Latin
language but with Greek, for the sake of the many
different things that have been admirably written therein.

research and find one invention that was invented in ancient time, but we are still using
today. Please make a four-page ppt to introduce the item. Make sure to follow the structure

• Slide 1: Include your topic of the project. How and when it was developed as well as its
impact on society in the ancient time.
• Slide 2: A significant change or development to your topic that occurred between
ancient times and now.
• Slide 3: Your topic and its role/use in today’s society.
• Slide 4: An MLA reference list.
