Re: Ms. Jing Lu

To whom it may concern.

It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommend on behalf of Ms. Jing Lu.

Jing was one of my students in the fall semester of 2021 in the Acute and Chronic Illnesses
course during the second semester of her BSN program. I was her instructor in the adult medical-
surgical clinical rotation at Northwest Medical Center. During this rotation, students learn how
to perform comprehensive assessment of adult patients, administer medications, analyze
laboratory and diagnostic test results, synthesize the developmental stage, anticipatory guidance,
priority problems of patients, and develop appropriate care plan, nursing interventions, and
patient and family education. Jing worked hard in this course and did well.

Jing currently works at Banner-University Medical center as a Nurse Extern, and during this
past summer worked at Northwest Medical Center as a Nurse Intern. In both positions, Jing
demonstrates her willingness to learn and gain experiences above and beyond what she can
learn in the classroom setting, which I truly admire. Balancing school, work, and life is not
easy, but Jing is making it work!

Jing is graduating in December of 2022 and she hopes to be able to work as a new graduate
nurse in either the emergency department or critical care. It is a pleasure for me to
recommend Jing for a new graduate position.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Sincerely Yours,

Dina Balderas, RN, MSN-Ed, ONC, CNRN
