Maintenance & Operations:
• Planning Corrective & preventive maintenance schedules, major shutdown, overhauling, inspections, data, maintenance
records of the equipment, repairs & replacements.
• Handling maintenance, installation & commissioning of equipments: -
Steam Boilers, Air Compressors, Pumps, Valves, Fans, Blowers, Burners, Cooling Towers, Water Treatment Plant, Alfa
Laval Heat Exchangers, Absorbing Towers, Acid circulating Pumps, Vessels, Tanks, etc.
• Handling all maintenance activities such as minor modification works as per manufactures "As Built Drawing"; creating the
related reports, schedules & other work permits as per requirements
• Taking stringent measures to conduct tests as per quality norms; reviewing engineering drawings, layouts & cost of
maintenance operations.
• Assisting in developing priorities and making improvements on work methods; participating in evaluating modification
proposals, failure analysis & unscheduled shutdowns
• Creating the list of spares, tools & other required materials & issues as per purchase & material requisitions with full technical
details for the approval of Section Head.
• Conducting inspection & confirming that the specifications are aligned as per requirement of received stock materials (direct
charge)
• Liaising with other Sections / Team Leaders in sorting out equipment problems, work scope& equipment selection as per
recommendations for maintenance activities.
• Understanding the drawings, plot plans & isometrics of equipment.
• Developing the workshop with the usage of proper tools.

Installation & Commissioning:

• Looking after installation & commissioning of various equipment & machinery as well as conducting tests & inspections on
them to ensure operational effectiveness.
• Reviewing engineering drawings, layouts, diagrams, technical specifications & cost estimates for testing, installation &
commissioning; creating list of spares & tools and issuing them as per purchase requisition.
