The Big Five Personality Test

The Big Five Assignment gave me a result on each of the five main personality traits: openness,

conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticism, and occasionally shortened

characteristics.

My personality attribute of openness is most likely to benefit my case project team (Cherry,

2020). My capacity for creative thought, intellectual curiosity, and interest in paying close

attention to and analyzing complicated situations will enable me to experience and learn new

things. My openness score is 71%, and people with high scores tend to be more creative,

adventurous, and intelligent (THE BIG FIVE PERSONALITY TEST, n.d.).

In my case project team, extraversion personality qualities may offer difficulties for me. An

extravert prefers to be the centre of attention and seeks such circumstances from the outside

world (THE BIG FIVE PERSONALITY TEST, n.d.). At the same time, I have always been an

introvert, making it difficult for me to feel at ease around others. For instance, I recently attended

an Indian wedding but could not dance or fully enjoy the event because I lacked confidence. This

situation has made me aware that I need to improve my weaknesses and be confident. I would

convey my ideas, feelings, and interaction with my team members to limit any adverse effects on

the team, thereby making me feel more at ease seeking outside stimulation.

Team members have a variety of interpersonal abilities, and they communicate their

accomplishments and failures (THE BIG FIVE PERSONALITY TEST, n.d.). Consciousness is

one of the most important character qualities and personality traits. A person's capacity for self-

control and self-discipline in the pursuit of their objectives is referred to as conscientiousness.

Excellent communication will help you be more organized, determined, diligent, responsible,

and reliable. I consider myself accountable, and I must be honest and say that neither leadership

nor extroverted qualities come naturally to me. But other team members can depend on me to

meet deadlines, take care of tasks, and even stay late to finish things. That is how I would

describe my contribution to the team.
