Basil could Paint better because Dorian was a very special person to Basil.
Basil podía pintar mejor pq Dorian era una persona muy especial para Basil.

Por que Basil era infeliz cuando el escucho q Lord Henry quería conocer a Dorian?

Because Lord Henry was not a Good person and could have a bad influence on
Dorian.

Lord Henry told Dorian about his journeys and his cynical style of life, Dorian was
listening to him carefully to these new ideas, Dorian was confused.

a) Dorian felt sad because the man in the picture was Young forever and Dorian
was not.
Dorian se sintió triste pq el hombre del cuadro iba a ser joven para siempre y el no.
b) Basil felt shocked because of Dorian´s sad reaction
Basil se sintió impactado por la reacción triste de dorian

2.What happened after Basil saw his painter´s knife?

Q sucedió después de q basil viera el cuchillo?
Basil wanted to destroy the picture but Dorian stopped him, Basil gave the picture to
Dorian.
Basil quería destruir el cuadro pero Dorian lo paro, y Basil le regalo el cuadro

3. Why was Basil sad after he closed the door?

Pq Basil estaba triste después de cerrar la puerta?

He was very sad and very worried about Dorian´s future.

Estaba triste y muy preocupado por el futuro de Dorian.

Lady Margaret was the mother of Dorian, she was very beautiful. She fell in love with
a poor soldier so they ran away together. They died when Dorian was a Little boy. (
he died in a duel and she soon after)
Lady Margaret era la madre de Dorian, era muy hermosa. Se enamoro de un soldado pobre y
se escaparon juntos. Murieron cuando Dorian era muy pequeño( el murió en un duelo y ella
poco después)

He was walking through a poor part of the city and he went into a theatre because
outside there was a man who convinced Dorian to see the play.
El estaba caminando por una parte pobre de la ciudad y entro en un teatro pq fuera había un
hombre convenciéndolo para q viera la obra de teatro.

2.Where did Sibyl live and who did she live with?
Donde Sibyl vivía y con quien?

She lived in a poor house with her mum and her brother.
Ella vivía en una casa pobre con su madre y su hermano

3.How did Sibyl describe her Prince Charming?

Como Sibyl describia a su príncipe encantador?
She said that he was Young, handsome and aristocratic.
Ella dijo q era joven guapo y aristocratico

4.Why was James going to Australia and why were Sibyl and her mother sad?
Poq James iba a Australia y pq Sibyl y su madre estaban tristes?

James ( Sibyl´s brother) was going to Australia because he wanted to make a fortune
and Sibyl and her mother were sad because he was going to be away for many years.
James( hermano de Sibyl) se iba a Australia pq quería hacer fortuna y ellas estaban tristes pq el
