ORDER

1. The appellant filed an application under the Right to Information Act,

2005 (RTI Act) before the Central Public Information Officer (CPIO) O/o. The
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, Bandra East, Mumbai. The appellant
seeking information is as under:-
1. “KINDLY PROVIDE CERTIFIED COPIES OF CATERING
SERVICES INVOICES OF M/S ARAMBHAN HOSPITALITY PVT
LTD, MUMBAI SUBMITTED BY OIM OF RIG SAGAR KIRAN TO
FINANCE THROUGH RIG MANAGER FOR CLEARING THE BILLS
FROM JANUARY 2018 TO JANUARY 2019 .

2. KINDLY PROVIDE CERTIFIED COPIES OF ABSENTEE

STATEMENT OF SHRI VARUN KANDEWAL EE(ELECT) FROM
JANUARY 2018 TO DECEMBER 2018 PERFORMED DUTY AT RIG
SAGAR KIRAN.” ETC.

2. The CPIO vide letter dated 15-11-2019 had denied the information sought
at point no. 2 of the RTI application under section 8(1)(j) and provided reply at
point nos. 1,3 to 6 of the RTI Application. Being dissatisfied with the same, the
appellant has filed first appeal dated 10-12-2019 on ground that the appellant
had not received requested information till date and no correspondence received
so far from the CPIO, Mumbai. The FAA vide order dated 26-12-2019 upheld
CPIO’s reply and disposed the Appeal. He has filed a second appeal before the
Commission on the ground that information sought has not been provided to
him and requested to direct the respondent to provide complete and correct
information sought at point nos. 1, 2, 5 & 6 of the RTI Application.

Hearing:

3. The appellant attended the hearing through audio-call. The respondent,

Shri Vivek Jhine, CPIO attended the hearing through audio-call.
4. The appellant submitted that the information sought was provided by the
CPIO post the filing of the Second Appeal, and therefore, requested to withdraw
the Second Appeal.

Decision:
5. In view of the above, the matter is dismissed as “withdrawn”.
6. Copy of the decision be provided free of cost to the parties.
