GARUDA
Garuda is a bird creature from Hindu mythology
that has a mix of both eagle and human features. Garuda
represents birth and heaven,and is the enemy of all snake
or Nagas. Garuda gradually acquired more human form
over the garuda centuries and so maintained only his
wings.

traditionally has the torso and arms of a man and the
wings, heads, beak, and talons of an eagle. His body is
gold in color his wings are red, and his face is white.
Garuda is also known as the king of birds, as he who
beautiful feathers [SUPARVA], golden bodied
[SUVARNAKAYA] and the devour [HAGANTUKA].
Garuda also has a wife named Unnati and his
son is Sampati, another mythical bird and ally of Rama.
Garuda is the offspring of Kasyapa and Vinata. It was
following his mother quarrel. Which is being a slave to
her co-wife Kadru, mother of Nagas, that Garuda acquired
his dislike on shake.

THE IMPRISONED NAGA


According to the mythology of Samal, which
is a coastal city in province of Davao del Norte, the milky
way is seen as a gigantic dragon, which is also known as a
Naga, trapped in the sky. It is said that God granted a
couple’s wish to be saved from the savage beast and thus
put into the sky, and when the world ends, it will eat the
unfaithful people

The imprisoned Naga has been written about


back in 1973, to which it reads, “The family closed their
eyes and waited for the inevitable, but pleas and showed
his benevolence. The dragon leapt, but it did not meet its
target. It rose high into the heavens pass the clouds and
into the realm of the stars, gigantic gouts of flame and
smoke trailing in its wake.”
