desk workflows easy, will create a seamless guest experience. More accommodation business recognizes the
need to work as efficiently as possible to streamline operations. Working with a cloud-based PMS system, hotel
platform, where constant updates are made, can help you manage your property from anywhere, at any time,
from any device. PMS capabilities have expanded beyond core functions like room inventory, reservations,

systems make it easier for coordinating the functions of the front office, guest management, sales, planning, and
reporting.

2.) What do you think is the most important feature of a property management system (PMS) that property
owners and managers should consider before purchasing a software? Support your answer.

 While there are a number of property management systems on the market, it is important to identify one with
the right features for your hotel. With this in mind, below, you will find eleven of the most important features to
look for. Reservations: The first and perhaps most obvious feature your property management system should
have is an ability to handle hotel reservations. This reservation system should be able to integrate with all
channels where customers can make bookings, and provide your own staff with access to up-to-date inventory
information. This means employees should be able to use the PMS system to find out which rooms are reserved
and when, Some PMS systems also provide similar functionality for other hotel services, while hotels that are
part of a chain may need access to reservation information from across the entire property portfolio.
