Types of construction shows the different types of all buildings purposed construction
that shall be classified or identified according to their different types. This section
shows different information in different types of construction which are helpful to
inform the community about the types of construction that they would want to have.

No change in the type of construction of any building that would place the building in
a different sub-type or type of construction shall be made unless such building is
made to comply with the requirements for such sub-type of construction: Unless the
changes are approved by the Building Official upon showing that the new or proposed
construction is less hazardous, based on life and fire risk, than the existing construct.

The Secretary shall prescribe standards for each form of construction and adopt rules
and regulations related to structural framework, external walls and openings, internal
walls and enclosures, floors, exists, and stair construction, and roofs for the
requirements on type of construction. These standards should be followed to avoid
accidents.

For the requirement for fire zones, fire zones are places where only specific types of
buildings are allowed to be built, based on their use or occupancy, construction type,
and fire resistance. Each sections should be followed to prevent fire accidents in the
construction or building.

For the center lines of street, the center line of an adjoining street or alley may be
considered an adjacent property line. Measurements must be taken at a right angle to
the street or alley. This is to prevent fire hazards in existing buildings.

All of the chapters in this topic emphasize the need of fire prevention when building
structures. To prevent future fire incidents in existing buildings and to avoid fire
accidents while working. Safety is the most crucial factor that personnel should
consider while planning and designing the construction.
