We have updated our Google Domains

Terms of Service. Review what these
changes will mean for you.

Hello,

We’re emailing you to make you aware of some changes we’ve

made to our Google Domains Terms of Service.
What does this mean for me?

Our new Google Domains Terms of Service won’t affect the way
you experience Google Domains, but they’ll make it easier for
you to understand what you can expect from Google Domains -
and what we expect from you - as you use our services.

What’s changing?

You can review the new Google Domains Terms of Service.

Here’s a summary of what these changes mean for you:

More clarity on what we expect from users, and what users

can expect from us: We’re providing more examples to
describe the mutually respectful conduct that we expect
from all of our users.

Improved readability: While our terms remain a legal

document, we’ve tried to make them easier to understand by
simplifying structure and content.

For EEA-based users:

Developing, improving, and updating our services: We’re

clarifying how we develop, improve, and update our digital
services, including more detail about the reasons we
make changes and legally-required updates, the
advanced notice we provide to users, and their right to
withdraw from their contract with us.

Legal guarantee: We’re summarizing the legal guarantees

that users receive under EEA consumer laws when they
use our digital services.

Withdrawal right: We’re providing information about a

user’s legal right to withdraw from the terms within 14
days of agreeing to them if they’re an EEA-based
consumer. We’re also including a copy of the EU Model
Instructions on Withdrawal in case they want to exercise
that right.
Additional definitions: We’re adding more information to
help users understand certain legal concepts that we
refer to in our terms, including “commercial guarantee”,
“legal guarantee”, and “lack of conformity”.

For US-based users:

Revised warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability:

We’re including new warranty disclaimers and limitations
of liability to reflect industry standards.

What do I need to do?

No action is required but we recommend you review

the changes.

See you online,

Google Domains team
