ASSIGNMENT 2

NAME: KAYLA MAYZA AZZAHRA

NPP: 33.0389
CLASS: D-5 (ADMINISTRASI PEMERINTAHAN DAERAH)
ATTENDANCE LIST: 19

Apple pie is a mouthwatering treat. The popularity of this pie has centuries of its
origins in the 14th century when countries like England, Denmark and Sweden
developed slightly different versions all leaving fans hungry for more. Nowadays
apple pies are mass produced to meet demand so you can ditch the rolling pin and
let the folks at the factory do all the work.
1. To make the filling, they emptied lots of apple slices into a large heated
steamer. These apples are a tough and sour variety and have been grown
organically.
2. Add honey and apple juice and apple slices, then bring to a boil in a very large
skillet while mixing gently, adding the mixture with a pinch of cinnamon to
thicken it to a sweet taste.
3. Add the tapioca flour and dry ingredients to the mixture as the apple slices
continue to cook. The fruit softens and releases a curdled liquid juice to a
syrupy consistency.
4. When the apple liquid is slightly browned, mix it with the chocolate slices.
5. Now for the pie crust, start with cold premium grade butter and organic
cream and 100 grams of high fiber whole wheat flour then pour some honey
into the pie crust mixture to sweeten it.
6. When the machine is kneading the pie dough add cold water so that the
butter doesn't melt too fast, the machine will stir the ingredients until they
come together into a dough.
7. The dough that has been entered in a tool called a mechanical sheeter roller
presses the dough into sheets.
1. a worker rolls a sheet of dough over a grouping of four pie paper plates which
then advances on a carousel, while over a funnel the sweet apple filling into a
device called a holder, the store pumps the filling into the raw pie crust as
they rotate around the system's loot conveyor. This automatically fills each pie
cookie batch right on cue now filled with lots of apple slushy filling.
8. a worker fills it with more dough, gives the pie a top crust like a large rotating
cookie cutter, a rolling dice punch, cuts the dough around the pie plate,
separates it, cuts and curls the edges, all in one action, the pedestal lifts the
pie and a workers move it to the next conveyor.
9. they finish one batch of pies and then start another for a continuous cycle of
pie production. 10. The pies now enter the baking zone, where workers
arrange the pies on the baking sheet. They cut a hole in the top of the crust to
let the steam out and prevent the fruit juices from overflowing. They stack the
baking sheet filled with pies on a rack in a convection oven, the rack rotates
for a long time to bake
10. Then the worker sends one apple pie from each batch to the quality assurance
department, here the inspector takes the aroma from the freshly baked pie he
checks the shape and compares it with the existing perfect pie.
11. there is one way to verify that if the quality assurance person approves the pie
then the whole batch moves forward they flash freeze the pie then seal it in a
plastic suction sleeve then workers pack it up and the pie is passed on the pie
roller to be taken to the shipping department.
