Sexual Harassment (Anti-Sexual Harassment)

I learned a lot during our symposium the other day. I recognized that I had been tormented in a
variety of ways. I understood that we need to discuss about and speak out against sexual
harassment, whether it's occurring to you or to someone else. You are free to discuss current
sexual harassment or prejudice. No one in our world, male or woman, deserves to be subjected to
sexual harassment. We all have the right to live our lives without fear of harassment, bullying, or
discrimination. It is for this reason that sexual harassment is prohibited. I was aware that sexual
harassment is an issue in our society, but I had no idea how under-reported it is. Men and women
who are or have been harassed, abused, or belittled as a result of abuse from anybody experience
humiliation, shame, and solitude. Sexual harassment takes various forms and is not limited to
just one. When someone tries to touch, grab, or make any physical contact with you without your
permission, this is considered harassment. It also includes sexually suggestive remarks spoken in
passing. It's also when someone approaches you for sexual favors after that. One can also add
leering and gazing incessantly as one. When the aggressor exposes nasty and insulting stuff, you
are being sexually harassed. Another example is making sexual gestures and making sexual jokes
or comments directed at you. It is also not appropriate for someone to inquire about your sexual
life or make sexual remarks to you. The Anti-Sexual Harassment Act protects males as well as
women. Anyone can be subjected to sexual harassment. Sexual harassment can take many forms,
including teasing, intimidating, or offensive comments based on stereotypes, as well as bullying
someone or a group of people based on their sex, gender identity (man, woman, trans, intersex,
nonbinary), or sexual orientation (queer, straight, bisexual, lesbian, gay, asexual, pansexual, two-
spirit, etc.).
