SELF ASESSMENT
I believe I deserve a favorable grade for always being present and sometimes engaging in class. I
also examine my exam grades and the importance of this topic. I always turned in all of our
assignments and activities on schedule. I always dedicate my time and effort to engage in group
performances or activities so that I am not a burden to my group mates. I have encountered
several distractions in which I have engaged in self-reflection. I discovered that there are many
more brilliant and beautiful methods to solve a problem than I previously thought, and I
discovered new foundation lines and guiding principles that I can now employ while making
decisions in my life. I am thankful to this subject that teach me the most, taught me to be better,
and bring the best out of me.

SELF GRADE: 1.5 Is what grade I think I deserve.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8
Hello! How are you? How are you doing? If that's so, please read my story. So, if you didn't
know who I was, allow me to introduce myself. I'm John Kenley De Belen Ferry, or Ken for
short. On August 3, 2003, I was born in Talavera, the city of carabao milk. I have two sisters and
am the only boy in my family. Being the only son isn't difficult for me. My family believes in me
and my goals. I am now a second-year nursing student at Wesleyan University-Philippines. You
might wonder why I chose nursing. I picked this route because I have always wanted to aid sick
people and I enjoy the scent of hospitals.
I've always wanted to have a successful life, but not in the sense of being wealthy, but as a
person who makes a lot of errors. You're probably wondering why. Because I have hundreds of
thousands to make. I ain’t talking about money I am talking mistakes and make your mother
proud, and that's enough for the day. I wish to grow in our society as a person with a lot of life
experience.
I am also a believer, and when I say believer, I am referring to our creator, God. My principles
guide me down the proper road in life and help me win. My faith propels me through life's
difficulties. I wish I could share more Bible verses to benefit more people. And that is all for my
“Know Me”. Thank you for being with me until this end.

“Be Yourself”
I believe in being true to yourself. You should always be yourself with everyone. You
shouldn't be someone else's idea of what you should be because it won't get you anywhere. Also,
don't try to be like someone else just so they'll like you. You should always be true to yourself.
Most people will not like it if you strive to be like them or anybody else. Everyone should
always be themselves. There was no one day when I learnt to be myself; I just learned it
throughout junior high. I discovered that everyone is unique and that no one can tell you who
you should be.

According to ethics and philosophy, humans have fundamental values that guide their thoughts
and actions. This is known as natural law theory. Natural Law, in my opinion, best expresses
human nature. Our conscience, moral compass, and trust in God are the things that govern our
decisions. Our theme is "Natural law," which claims that there is law in our nature. There are
several types of law, including Eternal law, Human law, and Divine law. As we all know, the law
sets the right measure of our actions.

There was an intellectual and religious revolutionary in this topic. Natural law, as Thomas
Aquinas stated, is a moral doctrine anchored in Christian faith that acknowledges our creation by
God. He also claims that God supervises the activities of the cosmos and all living things. That
is, how we acknowledge God reveals our personality. This is our road map for achieving
pleasure while keeping our faith and the well-being of others as our cornerstones. God's rational
goal and design for everything, or what Thomas Aquinas called the "eternal law," has always
existed and will continue to exist since it is a component of God's thought.

They stated that something is good if it serves its purpose/plan. In this world, we are all familiar
with the sense of completing our tasks or goals. It is a sense of fulfillment in our hearts. The
prospect of total goodness exists because we have the ability to make decisions and select wisely
in what we do. Plato considers whether it is possible to experience total goodness. He believes in
a transcending absolute good. Because the good is genuine, it cannot be ignored or faked. Acting
logically, in my opinion, is what is best for us as people. When we act logically, we participate in
natural law.

As a child, I wished to pursue a career in nursing. Throughout my youth, I was always interested
by the level of respect that nurses received during my medical appointments. There are several
reasons why I chose to major in Nursing, including the chance to care for others, the money and
advantages afforded by the field, as well as work security and flexibility. One of the primary
reasons I want to be a nurse is to be able to care for others other than myself. Nurses often have a
compassionate heart that aids in the healing of any sickness, whether it is physical or emotional.
Saving lives is one of the most fulfilling experiences for me as a nursing student who has a huge
obligation and responsibility to study hard, do their job, and save lives someday, because as a
Filipino who cares about their living and health, doing my job with heart and care is the service I
will always do when I become a nurse, and to our modern government, who cares about the
health and living of my fellow Filipinos, improving technology and adding more facilities to
serve our coworkers.

Utilitarianism often employs actions that promote an individual's happiness and well-being. It is
a kind of consequentialism that maintains that the outcomes of any action are either good or
terrible. It considers all human interests equally. Utilitarianism is one of the most widely
accepted moral philosophies. It generally encourages good conduct while discouraging any type
of negativity. The purpose of mortality is to make people's lives better. It is the most
fundamental principle of happiness. It distinguishes between what is good and what is bad. It is
mostly concerned with the outcomes. To decide which action was ethically acceptable, sum all
units of happiness and deduct all types of unhappiness that the activity will cause. Act-
utilitarianism and rule-utilitarianism are the two types of modern utilitarianism. Bentham's
classic utilitarianism leads to act-utilitarianism. The notion of act-utilitarianism states that each
time an action is chosen, that event is wholly distinct from any subsequent actions that must be
computed.
Utilitarianism is about caring about everyone who is capable of suffering and of making their
lives better by improving it. It can also apply to behaviors that enhance pleasure while
minimizing discomfort. This theory is founded on the idea that the moral acceptability of a
means to a goal justifies the moral acceptability of the means, and the effects of the action
outweigh all other considerations. Utilitarianism holds that sacrificing one individual to rescue a
society is the correct decision since it maximizes the happiness of a large number of people.
