FINALS: ACTIVITY 3

1. Propose a program in school or community that will raise the awareness of

the students and to help eliminate sexually transmitted diseases especially
among the youth.
- STDs can cause long-term health concerns, especially in women and
newborns, thus we must prevent them. STD Awareness Day is a chance to
promote awareness of STDs and how they affect people's lives, as well as to
minimize stigma, fear, and prejudice associated with STDs, and to ensure
that people have the tools and knowledge they need to prevent, test for, and
treat STDs. Because STDs do not usually create symptoms, it is possible to
be infected without realizing it. That is why, if you are having sex, you should
be checked. (1) There should be more emphasis on the relationship between
STIs and HIV/AIDS. Stressing that STIs increase the risk of HIV transmission
may raise people's awareness of the dangers of STIs and lead to less
hazardous behavior. Non-HIV STIs should also be highlighted in the media.
(2) Sex Education in the current curriculum of the education system. Let's
face it: in our nation, sex education, or anything related to sex, is a taboo

experimenting with new things

2. Are you in favor of legalizing marriage among homosexuals and trans

genders? Why?
- Yes, I believe that homosexual and transgender marriage should be legalized
since they are human, and there is nothing wrong with their marrying in the
presence of God. For a long time, this has been a hot matter of debate. In
truth, homosexual and transsexual marriages are permitted in Australia,
Germany, and Taiwan. Others who disagree with this viewpoint claim that it is
only a man and a woman should be married, according to the Lord's will.
They say that what is written in the Bible forbids it. In my perspective, there is
nothing wrong with this, and it will never be deemed a sin in the eyes of the
Lord, particularly if these two marry out of love. There's nothing wrong with
selecting who we want to be or with whom we want to spend our time. Yes,
God created just a man and a woman, but he also gave us the choice of who
we want to be and what we want to accomplish.
