1. Describe the production, properties and physiological effects of ultrasonic therapy and
discuss its techniques of application for a 36 year old female with lateral epicondylitis.

2. Explain the laws governing UVR, physical set up and procedures for operating a UVR
device including safety precautions and skin test. Add a note on various clinical uses of
UVR.

II. Short Notes – Answer all the questions 2X5 =10

3. Cryokinetics and the factors determining the rate of cooling of body tissue temperature.
