cortex

Most of the ear comes faom the branchial Auch system

BRANCHIALARCH

II
There are 6 branchial arches out of which 5th one
disappears
All the 3 layers ectoderm mesoderm and endoderm
are there in beranchial arch
Ectodermal side are clefts
Endodermal side are Pouches Grooves
Ist cleft and Ist pouch gaow towards each other and
meet each other When they meet mesoderm is trapped
between the two
The meeting point becomes the tympanic membrane
that's why tympanic membrane has 3 layers 9
Ist cleft becomes the external auditory canal
Pinna develops felons fashion of 1st and 2nd Branchial

oticplacode

Inner ease or Membranous labyrinth develops from otic

otic placode appears on 22ndday of IOL 9

otic cyst on otic vesicles are developed faom otic placode
Otic placode divides into 2 pants Parssuperior and Pars
Inferior
Pads superior gives rise to 3 structures
utericle
Semicircular canal
Endolymphatic duct

Pays inferior gives rise to 2 structures
