Speaking of plagiarism, nowadays this phenomenon is quite common among
students. This phenomenon began to spread due to the influence of the availability of information in a lot of sources, especially on the Internet. This applies not only to information, but also to other people's works in general. And therefore, looking for an easier way to pass some work, students resort to plagiarism. In my opinion, plagiarism is fraud and theft. It is theft because you have taken something that is not your property, and fraud - because you pretend to be someone you are not, the creator of a text or thought that you clearly believe has merit. That is, using plagiarism, a person simply becomes a criminal, because it is like ordinary theft. My position is that plagiarism should be treated as a civil offense and the plagiarist should be punished and his violations should be recorded. If they continue to plagiarize, the penalties should increase to prison terms; this is a scam. And there should be especially serious punishments for plagiarism of works such as songs, highly qualified works, poems and so on. But in student life, it is irrational to use such punishments, because I would say that these are only minor write-offs, for which you should simply not accept the job or send it for a retake, and so on. But despite the fact that students do not have such serious cases of plagiarism, it is still a violation of academic integrity and in essence it is a deception, and first of all one's own. Because writing off work and getting good grades, the student will not get knowledge or experience for his further career and future in general.
