Turn power on and warm up unit for about 10 min. Open C02 supply valve. The meter 1 pointer should be within the green zone. Clamp the Sho-Rate (#99961) flowmeter. Set the insufflation control 12 to 1 LPM position and observe the following: a. Pressure meter 4 LED should read 62 to 50 mmHg and the Pennwalt #99941 pressure gage should read the same pressure within +2 mnig. b. LED 10b should light up and the tone "beep beep - should be heard. c. Intra-abdominal perssure LED meter 11 should read the same as meter 4 within 42 digits. 5. Set pressure control knob (3) to 12. Remove the clamp from the Sho-Rate (#99961) flowmeter and observe the following: a. Mechanical insufflation indicating ball should hover between the mark lines or near the upper end of the glass tube. b. Pressure meter 4 should read 2-5 mmiig. c. Flow meter 6 should read 1 LPM +10%, and the Sho-Rate (#99961) should read .9-1.2 LPM. 4. LED 9, 10a should light up intermittently and signaling correct function measurement and insufflation phase. ©. Meter 11 should read 00. 6. Have a timer ready. a. Reset meter § by pressing the reset button switch 7. count for 1 min. The meter 5 should read 1 LPM +10%. 7. Turn volume knob 3 slowly to between 2-8. The green LED light 10 should light up. 8. By using the fingers, block the outlet tubing to stop the insufflation. The LED 10b should light up and the tone beep beep" ---- should be heard. 9. Set insufflation switch 12 to Hi-flow position for a few seconds and observe the following a. Sho-Rate (#99961) flowmeter should read 5-6 LPI b. Flow meter 6 should read about 3-6 LPM. c. LED 9 and 10a should light up at faster rate compared with setting at 1 LPM rate.Page 3. 10. Turn power and C02 off and disconnect unit under test. 11. Affix the following labels on unit per required labeling for 2602000: 00302 00303 00304 00307 01307 M12311 M70302Page 4. : MECHANICAL MODIFICATION 1. Remove the top and bottom cover from unit. » Cut three (3) yellow ground wires from the ground terminal with the exception of the yellow wire from the AC socket to the ground terminal. 3. Connect two (2) yellow ground wires to the place as shown below. 4.
