STATE’S RESPONSE TO DEFENDANT’S MOTION TO SET ASIDE WARRANT

COMES NOW, the State of Alabama, by and through the undersigned Assistant District
Attorney, in response and objection to the defendant’s response in the above styled cases in the
following:

1. The State would respond that the Defendant filed a motion to set aside alias warrant on

December 1, 2022, after the State filed a motion to revoke the defendant's bond after he

violated the conditions of bond for committing a new offense.

2. That doing so would set a precedent that this defendant is immune to arrest for revocation

when he commits a new offense while on bond while other defendants are not entitled to

the same treatment.

3. That this Honorable Court should deny the defendant’s motion to set aside.

WHEREFORE, premises considered, the State responds and objects to the Petitioner’s motion

in the above styled cases, respectfully submitted this 1st day of December 2022.
