The dying sun

“Wow what a beautiful weather,” Daisy said taking a deep breath.

“It is perfect” Jack replied with a smile. They both were sitting on the lawn outside the class. The sky of
California was covered by deep clouds. Jack was a classmate and boyfriend of Daisy. Ever since Daisy
regained consciousness, she found herself in a children’s home. Jack was there with her, but soon Jack
found his parents so they were childhood friends. Thus Daisy was alone, she continued her studies. Now
they were both university students. Jack loved daisy very much.

“Where is David”? Daisy asked.

“He must be teasing someone” Jack replied with a smile.

“Yes, it is futile to expect him to improve.” She joked.

At the same time, Daisy saw a group of students. She said loudly, “Look jack”. Jack followed her eyes. He
saw Derek with half a dozen friends teasing a student. “Joker” Daisy murmured.

“Well that is his habit”, Jack commented.

“How are you Mr. and Mrs.?” David asked as he came straight to them.

“We are fine”, Daisy replied.

“Today the weather is so good that I want to go on a trip with my girlfriend, oh yes I remember I don’t
have a girlfriend”. David joked. They all laughed. David always used to make them laugh.

“Okay Daisy you said you are being harassed by some obscene guys on your way from university to
home, is it true”? David asked.

“Yes, but they will stop doing it themselves”, Daisy said. But she knew that it was impossible. “We have
to teach them a lesson”, Jack said angrily, but Daisy never agreed.

On that day, when she was going to her home she was once again harassed by the Derek group. They
were even trying to kidnap her, but some people intervened and she reached the home with great
difficulty. She was very upset when she was alone in her home. She had no one in this world. She would
have missed her parents with great intensity. “Who were her parents and where were they now”? She
had no answer to this question. Suddenly her phone rang and there was an unknown number. She
picked up the phone. There was a loving voice on the other side. She could not understand. The person
on other side said that she should come in main to see Derek resurrection this evening at four o’clock.
She was shocked and thought that she shouldn’t go. But still, she went to the main street of the market
to see the truth. Suddenly she realized that a shooting was taking place and then she saw Derek’s group.
Suddenly Derek was hit by a bullet and fell. She had no idea who was fighting, so she hurried back home.
She was told that someone had come to visit. She saw that he was an attractive man of relatively old
age. There was love in his eyes for Daisy.

“Listen, doll, are you alright?” The man asked.

Daisy was looking at him with surprised eyes.

“Daisy, you don’t have to worry, I am your dad.” The man said with a smile.

She was surprised when she noticed that his face was very similar to her. The man sat down. “Look daisy
I don’t have time, but today I will tell you the reality.

“Your mother and I got married at the behest of your mother’s father. He was very powerful. We loved
each other very much. We got married secretly to your mother’s father.” The man asked for water and
then he continued. “But one day they found us. Your mother was killed by her father‘s group but I
escaped with great difficulty and formed my group.”

There were tears in Daisy’s eyes. The man smiled. “Daisy, did you think you were alone”? He took a deep
breath and then continued. “No, I was around you like a shadow. I have many enemies so I did not meet
you so that no one could harm you.” He hugged Daisy. “Look I have killed Derek and now I am about to
make my arrest, but never feel alone my people will always be around you.” There were tears in his old
eyes but he was still smiling. Daisy was crying. She kept stopping her father but the police came outside
and handcuffed his father.

“Dad this is the first time you met have met me” She was crying.

She had never seen such a kind person. This time she realized that there is no one better in this world
than parents. The sun was dying slowly, she was staring at the sun. It was as if she was sinking with the
sun.
